If color is green then change name?

Is there a way to make a character change its name when it has a different color selected (such as multiplayer) like: If <Mario>'s color = red, change name to MARIO, If <Mario>'s color = green, change name to LUIGI? (I don't have much experience with coding outside of Scratch)

Unfortunately, the skin_t variables are read-only, so this isn't possible in Lua.
