Seeing as how Smash Bros. is basically just a fighting game built from a Kirby engine anyways, that's a rather sensible way of seeing it.

I guess he means that Kirby series and the Smash Bros. series were both made by "Hal Lab."

Also... I reckon we're going to have one HELL of an update later related to this. Including the trailer. If it happens, I want you to know that I smegging called it.
 
Yeah, I don't really care about whether Sonic is in the game. Could be interesting, though.

Online cooperative sounds great.
 
I highly doubt that. If you check the Dojo article on teamplay, it only says two players, and team members that get defeated are replaced with one of your other team members. So, if there's any multiplayer coop, it'll be as a tagteam or a Super Mario Bros.-esque race to the game ending. That doesn't sound likely to me either, but speculation is fun.

All this game needs now is a 2 on 2 versus mode over online and I will...uhh...I dunno what I'd do acually...but you get the point

Man...I can't wait
