I couldn't see a topic like this, so I'd thought that I'd make one.

So, like the title says, what's your favorite song in a video game?

Mine is Rainbow Road in the F-Zero Expansion pack.

Hard to say, there are so many contenders...
I guess my favorite would be the music heard during the Woohoo Hooniversity Cackletta battle in Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga.

No, because that's any song in general. This one only applies to video game music.

ehhhh... I would pick a score from a licensed game but I know that's cheating... Starcraft II has some awesome music in their trailers and there are several Brawl musics I am fond of not listed not to mention MGS songs... but Ice Cap, Volcano Valley, and Robeatnik's Theme are the ones I could most often be caught humming so it would have to be one of them.

EDIT: Actually Volcano Valley's main theme does bear a strong similarity with the love theme from Star Wars ep II but whatever... anyone who knows more video game tracks by heart than rock songs must be insane.

My favorite is "U.N. Owen was her?" from the game Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.

Wow, I'm the first to say the Doomsday from S&K (or S3&K). It's #1 im mah list. Next is Devil Doom's I am from ShTH. After that, S. Adv 2's 7th boss (panic mode). Then comes S1's Death Egg. Lastly, Knuckles' Chaotix Metalic Madness (Past). So:

#1: Doomsday - S3&K/S&K

My favorite game songs would have to be "Fear" by Adam Freeland, and "Rock Is Sponge" by Joujouka. Both songs are from Rez.
