If you're in objectplace while Simple controls are active, the player moves relative to the direction they were last facing, rather than the camera like normal. I can confirm that this was not a problem with FickleCam in 2.2.0, so I'm certain this has to do with some camera behaviour modification when implementing FickleCam into 2.2.1.
While on the subject of objectplace, if you have Tails as a bot, he still faces you and shows the arrow icon when you get near him. I doubt this behaviour is intentional, considering you can't even use Tails Assist whilst in objectplace. Not to mention this can look visually awkward, as Tails' tails do not properly update along with him.
