Hey! all they did was steal all of the levels from streets of rage, add in their own characters, and call it Beats of rage. That's completely unoriginal! :x

They made their own engine, and used KoF characters.

Plus, really, they're not the same stages. Certainly same style, but not explicitly the same stages - the levels are higher quality than that.

And yes, being on the DC makes it all the more better. Then there's the modability... *drool*

They win the internet simply for using KoF characters alone. Porting it to the DC was just icing on the cake. :)
