Need help coding my character

So.
I need help coding my character.





As you may have seen, i'm working on a Bomberman project. I already got an spriter, I just need help with the coding (which i'm doing right now). The problem is, I don't know how to code in LUA. The Bomberman you see, is made by a friend which is taking a break from the internet, and he was also responsible for teaching me LUA.

If you know any basics of LUA, or want to play the lastest version of it (so you can show me any errors or give me feedback and suggestions), please, do it.
Any help is welcome.

I'm not good at lua scripting either. Also, who is the spriter you got to help?

From there, use the #scripting channel on the official server to learn some more.

I can't say who it is, he's already working for the Bomberman sprites and i don't want to him to work too much.

I already checked the wiki. The problem is, english isn't my first language, so i don't understand things very well. Thanks for helping.

My friend returned, but this time, i will try to learn LUA all by myself. This may slow down the project, but it may be worth it.
