Light Dash Vs. Ring Dash

So in Sa2, it's call the Light (Speed) Dash, but in Sonic Heroes, It's call Ring Dash.
Which is the correct term to call it?

Or are they two different things?

Wasn't "LightDash" a command back in 1.0?

It was a command, yes.

Also, LightDash, RingDash... May I ask, who cares?

It's exactly the same thing. I'm sure it's EXACTLY the same button too.

Anyway it WAS a command but I think it was scrapped because it was only to show that SA gameplay WAS possible but they just went with classic gameplay, I believe? Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'd like to know so I don't get laughed at​, in the next Sonic The Hedgehog Convention,

Sage isn't a Convention right?

The more often term is "Light Dash", if that was any help. I don't see many people calling the Light Dash "Ring Dash" so it'd probably be best to just say Light Dash but regardless, call it whatever you want. Burning basically covered most of what I wanted to say but I'm just pointing out the more used saying.

They are the same exact thing. They perform the same action and can be executed the same. The only thing that anyone could find a difference too is it's name.
