Pretty self-explanatory. Post how many songs you have, what albums they are, how many hours your music folder takes up, etc.

Mine consists of Paper Mario: TTYD, Dynamite Headdy, both Sonic CD soundtracks, Sonic 3D Blast Saturn, Super Mario World Live, SMB3 Akihabara Electric Circus, Explosions in the Sky, Ratatat, plenty of OCRemixes, Floratone, Rockman Complete Works 5 and 6, six Spyro Gyra albums, the platinum collection of Queen, Billy Joe Walker Jr, Larry Carlton, the Eagles: Long Road Out of Eden, and a few random tracks from who-knows-where.

That's (EDIT:) 28 hours and 7 minutes of playtime, but I need to do some cleanup soon anyway, so that might drop a bit.

Collection of -
Sonic music: Knuckles Chaotix, Sonic 1 and 2 Gamegear, Sonic 3D blast, Sonic Next-Gen, Sonic & Tails 2 Triple trouble, Sonic advance 1, 2, and 3, Sonic adventure, Sonic adventure 2 Battle, Sonic and the Secret Rings, Sonic Battle, Sonic CD (JP), Sonic Labrynth, Sonic Riders, Sonic Rush, Sonic spinball, Sonic the Fighters, Sonic 2, Sonic 2 - Hedgehog heaven, Sonic 3, and Sonic arcade.
Other types of music: Nagasarete Airantou, Katamari, NiGHTS into Dreams (Really need the JoD soundtrack), Parrapa the rapper, Phoenix Wright, PSOBB, Bomberman Online, Super Paper Mario, VOCALOiD (Tracks 1 and 2), Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix, Funtastic Power, MUCC, and Ayumi Hamasaki. And That's without the miscellaneous tracks I have. ;)

The whole folder is about 3.25 GBs in size and plays about 20+ hours of songs.

EDIT:
Sorry, Typoed. 30+ hours of songs.

My Music folder contains tons of metal and rock. Occasional video game soundtracks here and there.

In total, there are just under 5,000 files in the folder, totally to 18.6GB. Windows Media Player (The only one I actually have installed) refused to tell me the total length* of all the music/music videos (REAL music videos, not AMVs..), but my guess is that it could take several days of continuous play before everything has been listened to.

If anyone knows how to with collosal amounts of music, please tell!

Okay, to start off with, I don't see why you mentioned the "My Music" folder as if that's the only folder you're allowed to use. Just so you know, I have three partitions, one of which I keep all my stuff on now: G:\. First off, not only is this more portable, but it's also much shorter of a filepath to use. One of the things I hate about Windows XP are the incredibly large filepaths you have to use (which also contain spaces) in order to get to anything under My Documents, and the inability to change this directory since it comes like that. I'm not a computer n00b. I actually deal with directories and crap. G:\Music is far, far shorter than "C:\Documents and Settings\FoxBlitzz\My Documents\My Music". Vista fixes this somewhat, but still not enough, and plus it also has many other issues.

Anyways, I don't have a whole lot, at 1.50GB, but I do have some modules here and there (for those who don't know what modules are, go here). I used to download a bunch of modules, but now I don't have quite so many, so I'm going to get those again. My OCRemix folder is the largest, with about 217 remixes (and growing slowly). I also have a few game soundtracks in RSN format, including Chrono Trigger and the Donkey Kong Country games (MIDI sucks. Don't use it. Get them in their dumped formats, not some inaccurate recreation in some old format that can't even get the instruments correct).

If it's such a problem, I'll rename the thread. To be clear, though, I was implying "What music do you have on your computer?" I was generalizing it as the My Music folder, as that's where most people put their music. For obvious reasons.

Music I have (or intend to) put on my 360: Mmhmm by Reliant K, Beauty from Pain by Superchic[k], Good Monsters by Jars of Clay, and Furthermore: From the Studio also by Jars of Clay.

Other music I have but don't intend on adding atm: Demon Days by Gorillaz, Furthermore: From the Stage (moar JoC), and lots of stuff from my band teacher.

The sample music that comes with Windows. =/
Lol.

I've got mostly lots of discographies of my dad's, a ton of heavy and another bunch of trance musics.

18.8gb. A fair amount of it is CDs I actually own and ripped.

and 3 YTPMV MP3's.

Oh it's from the show!

I'm gonna be on TV!

Just a NiGHTS playlist that refrences tracks that are already on the web so I don't have to DL them myself~

Although if anybody wanted something a bit more in depth as per my music tastes, I always have a project playlist account.

Slipknot, Stone Sour, Disturbed, Korn, Rob Zombie, Three Days Grace, Seether, Linkin Park, and Static-X.

In my iTunes, I have 2351 songs, but that number is constantly increasing. 11.88GB = 6 Days, 3 Hours, 54 Minutes and 46 Seconds. 22 genres, most are subgenres of metal. I have 236 albums so I really don't want to list them all but I suppose I can list the artists. Rest assured that if there's an artist there, I probably have the majority of the discography since I like to keep my library up to date and complete.

Abigail Williams, The Acacia Strain, Adora, The Agony Scene, Aletheian, All Shall Perish, All That Remains, Anam Cara, Animal Mother, Animosity, Arch Enemy, As Blood Runs Black, As I Lay Dying, Atreyu, August Burns Red, Becoming The Archetype, Beneath The Massacre, Bet On Black, Between The Buried And Me, The Black Dahlia Murder, Bleeding Through, Bloodlined Calligraphy, Bring Me The Horizon, Bury Your Dead, Cannibal Corpse, Cattle Decapitation, Children Of Bodom, Chimaira, Converge, Dark Tranquility, Deadlift, Deep Enough To Die, Demise Of Eros, Demon Hunter, Dethklok, The Devil Wears Prada (the band NOT the movie), Discidium, DragonForce, Emmure, Enlow, Evergreen Terrace, Everyone Dies Alone, The Faceless, Finntroll, Firstblood, Gojira, Hank Jones, Hans Zimmer, Haste The Day, Heaven Shall Burn, The Human Abstract, Impending Doom, In Flames, Ion Dissonance, Iron Maiden, Isadora, It Dies Today, Jesus Wept, Job For A Cowboy, Killswitch Engage, Kingston Falls, Lamb Of God, A Life Once Lost, Linus, Living Sacrifice, Means, The Misfits, Mortal Treason, My Bitter End, Neocracy, A Night To Dismember, Norma Jean, Once Nothing, Parkway Drive, The Pax Cecelia, Poison The Well, Powerglove, Protest The Hero, PsychoStick, The Red Chord, Rush, Senses Fail, The Sensory, Set Your Goals, Shadows Fall, She's In Pain, Signal Home, Skylines, Sleeping Giant, Soilwork, Sonata Arctica, Still Remains, Struckdown, Suffokate, Sugarcult, Suicide Silence, This Is Hell, Threat Signal, Through The Eyes Of The Dead, Throwdown, The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza, Tourniquet, UnderOath, Unearth, War Of Ages, The Warriors, Wings Of Azrael, Within, Within Temptation, xDEATHSTARx, Zao and probably some other stuff I forgot.

I also have a LOT of stray music files just floating around in different sections of my documents that I have yet to organize.

Aah, well! I play guitar, so here's a list:

(PS this is the music I play on my guitar, not the ones I listen to.)

Hu Christie Piece
House of the rising sun
Forward roll in C
Backward Roll and Thumb
Silent Night
Scarborough Fair
Greensleeves
Freight Train
Variation on Ode to Joy
Andante in C-Dur
Breeze
Study in B minor
Romance
Blackbird
Deck the Halls
2 peices I made up.
Bunch of random tips sheets and chord charts.

Old one for my jazz band at school:

I'm Walking
Eye of the Tiger
Phantom of the opera
Tomorrow
Forrest Gump
Don't cry for me Argentina
Beauty and the Beast
Summertime
Shake a tail feather
Red volcano zone (Irrelevant)
Sonic Boom (Irrelevant)

Hedgehog Heaven (minus radio results), Project Chaos (minus knuckleduster and lava passion) and a handful of the Sonic Adventure music copied from the install folder.

I also have several remixes of various Sonic games and Ecco.

My favorites are (Ecco) Eternal Abyss, (Sonic) A New Ray of Light (Sunset Park 3), Robeatnik's Theme, (Sonic) Reich Lake, (Sonic) Malicious Fingers, and Open Your Heart (only one with lyrics I like).

Recently I've looked into ecco music because the original versions had an unusual amount of depth to them, and remixes almost always add a bit more depth to make it mp3 quality. Open Your Heart has always been a favorite depending on the time.

I'm also interested in a PotC soundtrack but I may have to wait and ask for it for my birthday... a few of my favorite tracks from that as far as I can tell from the movies were "Hoist the Colors", Davy's theme, PotC3 theme (urr... its a love song?), Kraken, and Jack Sparrow's theme.

Hear your resolution SCREEEEAM (unless you're in a decent sized resolution such as 1280x1024, if you're in 800x600, WHY?)
