[Open Assets] Finish the game without running! (Slowrun.lua)

This content may be freely modified and/or maintained by anyone.

Tai, for short.
"Sonic is a game all about speed, but what happens when you can't run once?"
Have you ever tried to complete a Sonic game taking care not to go too fast? No? Then I introduce you to Slowrun.lua!

This modification forces you to beat the game without entering the running state.

It can be used in online mode, with support for all gametypes.

It even works in splitscreen mode!

And by the way, a new update is available!
We now have the Speed Gauge. It displays your current speed and warns you if you're going too fast!

"But what can I do to not run" you must be asking yourself, right?
You must use any ability that you can to finish the level without accidentally running, or else you'll instantly die. It's pretty simple!

It is off by default, so you gotta activate it using the command:
"slowrun yes"
You can also force slowrun mode to activate without needing to restart the level by using the command:
"slowrun_force"
Only admins or the owner himself can use these commands.
This script has been completely rewritten from scratch for the 2.2 version of Sonic Robo Blast 2.

Get ready to go slow and be careful!
[07/10/2020] - Updated to v2.1

I am actually not that good in scripting, so any bugs or errors that you find... Sorry!

It's a unique and interesting concept but for me it would feel like hell to have to be careful about speed.

I was expecting it to just force you to never reach runspeed, but we got a real effort to put in!

Y'know, the SomeLostWorld.lua for 2.1 works perfectly in 2.2...
I've got this one in the bag.
