Honestly, why the hell is it getting to the point where people can't notice something in *the* most organized place to find it? Seriously. If you can't see something on the front page, can't follow a link that you see every time you post, and even has a warning, people must be blind, or ignorant.

Well, what the hell do you think you should do? Go to the Wiki and read up on character wads. See if the answer to your problem is in there, because it most likely is.
 
Syntax error: A universal error generally meaning; "YOU WORDED IT WRONG!"

Specifically, this error tells us that something is amiss in the S_SKIN lump. Perhaps you should post the contents of that lump so we can see exactly what.


And for goodness sake, don't order us around like that. It makes you sound like an ass.

(Also, you guys weren't too helpful either. I don't see any "syntax error" link on the front page of the Wiki)

I don't see anything immediately wrong, but perhaps not having an underscore (Or a space mind you, just make it one word) in the name would fix it.

there sonic's sprites. Just using S_SKIN to turn red... THE MODIFED SPINNING SPRITES!
 
Check your S_SKIN again, you might have left something important out.

Why would anything SIGSEV because of that? It must be in 256 bmp colour, as it would have been converted to that when it was put in...
