Somehow no one hasn't been talking here (Inculding me), also it's somehow own by KGL for some reason. Which means that there is no way for it to get updated anymore, that's sad.
 
You're welcome if you say no but... Can i get some of MCSonic's sprites and lua? I followed the stuff that the person needs to ask before being modified / use in their own mod.
 
I'd like to clarify a few things, and tie up some loose ends.

Firstly, I had flirted with returning to the community briefly, but even then, I had never intended to resume ownership of this project: It's now in the hands of KGL through an agreement between me, him, and Phanto. It will eventually be updated again, but his priority is on Sonic 1: South Island Definitive, which he has also effectively taken over from me as lead game design director.

Now, if it isn't clear why I left the community at least in part, I will make it all clear right below. It is spoilered due to both potential triggers and in respect to Rule 6:
To be brutally honest, the whole situation with Icezer/Zeuvia has completely tainted the game for me. I was extremely close as a friend of hers during the last year of it all, was also a close friend of Bloops. As a result, I got used by Zeuvia in her grooming, and I've only recently been able to fully get over the guilt of that. The aftermath of it all left me in a depressive state on-off for almost an entire half year. The stress and drama of it all, including several suicide attempts on her part, has made SRB2 itself tied inherently to bad memories, and whilst I don't mind discussing it with friends, I've chosen to burn basically every bridge to the game. I do not have qualms with anyone in specific besides Zeuvia, and I am forever grateful to how staff managed the whole affair. However, I cannot stay here anymore.

On top of this, I've recently chosen to burn almost every tie to the Sonic community, due to disgust with the corruption at the higher levels of administration, constant cycles of drama and abuse, and more that I couldn't escape from, no matter how much changed, because someone always came in to cause more trouble, repeat the same cycle, and the same degenerates stayed in charge. I have respect for several higher-ups in the wider community, but the vast majority time after time were shown to be horrible people. I just had enough, burnt all bridges with the wider Sonic community.

I may consider a return to the game and community upon a release of 2.3, be that whenever. Hopefully I will have healed enough by then for it to be enjoyable again.

Now, I'd like to explain how I intend to tie up the last loose ends in this community before I fully disconnect one last time:
  • I have finally made all add-ons I still possess that are released fully reusable (meaning Modify: Yes and Maintain: Yes). They can be freely modified and maintained from this point forward, including Demo Quest Zone.
  • I have a large collection of unfinished works regarding this game. Whilst I've lost some over time, I've decided to collect as much of it as possible here, excluding any that were for just personal use. I forsake any property or intellectual rights to these files upon release, anyone may finish or maintain these and use them as their own, though credit would be nice. I still have to find some of my older work, I will put it into the folder when I find it.
Redirect any bug reports or requests to KGL from here on out with this mod specifically. Go wild with the rest.

It's so sad seeing SRB2 drama ruin someones love for SRB2. And the things Phanto and Ice did are..... very wrong. I feel so sorry for what these people had to go through, and I hope they learned their lesson afterwards.

Anyways, I think Amy is the best one in the MCPack. Sure MCSonic is fun, but I feel like MCAmy plays better here way more then in a Sonic Game like SuperStars/Origins.

She has a nice hammer move that bounces her off walls that has a move that maker her a copter in air that has a move to make her use hammer again AND give her some height. Unlike SuperStars/Origins (No offense) she doesn't curl into a ball giving her better use for her hammer abilities. 1 is her normal hammer ability (smashing those goofy badniks with her hammer). And 2, pressing the spin or mapped custom ability buttons. Because pressing one of those buttons in mid-air allows her to do this hammer-stomp ability (basically think of Modern Sonic's Stomp ability but with Amy and her hammer). Both of these moves give great use on timing your attacks properly which is pretty cool since I think Amy is a character that needs something like this so she's not so samey. Although, I do think couple abilites are unnesscary (no offense). Like pressing one of the custom buttons so she can automaticly gain speed which is unneeded since I like gaining speed without pressing a button that gives me maxium speed. and after pressing the button for her normal hammer ability, theres the move where you gain a bit of height, which to me is unnesscary because we already have a move that makes you gain height so there really is no need for this move. Overall: I think Amy is the best one here since her moves are really good, and she can be used for speedrunning, something that I feel like she was made for.

Although, like I said, MCSonic is fun. DropDash, Bounce, and Peelout is nice. But he just isn't as fun as MCAmy, but he's better then MCTails (no offense). I think MCTails was... okay. His new abilites don't add much to the experience (and I don't like how his time in the air was lowered.), and I don't use him much because of that, I'll just use another mod to excel him. But ya did try with making Tails different, so thats nice.

Sorry for such a long message! :worry: I just wanted to say how much fun I had with this mod! It's pretty cool honestly! I think MCAmy's abilities would be great for SuperStars/Origins! They fit in better then her basic moves from those 2 games anyways.

To give a bit of a more positive update: I've recently been able to pick the game back up again. However, I don't really intend to interact with the community at all, much like the wider Sonic community. I choose to be a non-participant besides just checking in rarely and teritary ties (that are streneous or non-existent as is given my standing with a LOT of the remaining people, be it either not really talking anymore or having outright lost contact. Not because of any wrongdoing on my part, just the sands of time/the direct actions of those 2). Whilst Zeuvia and Phanto's acts were ultimately the final straw, the general issues with the wider Sonic community added onto it.

Also, let it be known: No. They have not learnt their lessons. Phanto less so, but Zeuvia, as far as I know, has refused to properly learn her lesson. Big part of why I cut ties with her (the whole story will not be discussed here for obvious reasons).

Appreciate the comments, I'm sure KGL will take them into mind.

I'm sure I'll bump into y'all occasionally, but it'll be rare. All I said still applies.

No offense, but the fact that they haven't learned their lesson pretty much shows that they shouldn't be on Social Media.

Btw, is KGL on the MB? Does he own the mod in some sort of way?

He is on the MB, and he does directly own the mod, if you check the Overview page.

Also, I take no offense, I'm in the same camp.
 
Ah! Nice! Is he active and works on the mod most of the time?
He plans to resume work after he finishes leading this coming demo of Sonic 1: South Island Definitive.
