first exit in the finale still warps to sonic's nightmare. cool that the other ones are fixed though! couldn't check other exits in the finale though. it's a skill issue.

Yeah... I just now found the culprit: A custom exit that was from an earlier revision. I don't know how I forgot about it. I already uploaded a build earlier today, but I'll get out the fix hopefully within the next few hours. I'm also updating some stages (mainly presentation) in The Finale anyways. It all worked out in the end, hahaha.

cool, do you have any estimate of when this will release? sorry, just really exited, and have been enjoying the demos.

Actually, the post with the build from earlier hasn't been approved by a moderator. It is on the Discord Server though, in the #modding-central thread of the same name. The one with the fixes and enhancements related to The Finale might take a while though. I also have to rewrite several cutscenes as they never rendered properly.

Here we go! New Public Beta Build for Holiday Heroes! Changes aren't too big, depending on who you are. First, ]The Finale actually works now! Cutscenes have been redone, bugs and glitches have been fixed, the most important being a rouge custom exit that was messing with where the first level took you upon completion. Also, The Final Act has gotten a redesign to fit with the story events. Have fun! YOU STILL NEED THE 2.2.11 PRERELEASE. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ENP2IFdOauW4pmWoJvKnhsz67BMqZdV-/view?usp=share_link

I'm planning on pulling a song from Team Sonic Racing's Final Fortress Tracks for the 1st Race of the Final Cup. I don't know which would fit the theme though. I'm going to spoiler tag most of this as these locales are heavily related to the Campaign in the main game itself. First, the general idea of the race track is a tower that sends signals to the Neo Ring Satellite. I plan on either making it a Mario Kart styled section track, where you start at the base of the tower and climb higher as the race progresses (Think Egg Rocket from Sonic Advance), or have the track take you into and around the tower. Now, here are the track choices: Thunder Deck (Lap Music):
Thunder Deck (Final Lap):
Dark Arsenal (Lap Music):
Dark Arsenal (Final Lap):
Turbine Loop (Lap Music):
Turbine Loop (Final Lap): https://youtu.be/-uSwSOPw04s I will check on replies to this as time passes, or just make my decision when I start to work on it.

Shutdown the Terminal Tower and board the Satellite Speedway, then close it all out with Radiant Emerald! The Final Cup for Race Mode in Holiday Heroes will be complete soon! (Why am I working on these backwards anyway?) Terminal Tower:
Satellite Speedway:

The Final Cup is now playable! Check it out in the new Holiday Heroes Public Beta! YOU STILL NEED THE 2.2.11 PRERELEASE. Here's a rundown of the tracks:
Terminal Tower: A signal tower constructed on an island meant to relay signals to the Neo Ring Satellite. Steer clear of those electrical hazards, especially now when it's storming!
Satellite Speedway: A speedway constructed inside of the Neo Ring Satellite. All of Metal Robotnik's defenses are in full force, so be careful!
Radiant Emerald: Welcome to Mario Kart! Loosely based off the the Sonic R track of the same name, this serves as the "Rainbow Road" for the Circuit tracks in Holiday Heroes! While not yet there in terms of difficulty, it can still be a challenge if you don't know what you're doing!
And here's the build! The "completed" campaign is also here! ("completed" because it's still missing the Halloween and The Finale NiGHTS stages, as well as The Grand Finale.) Check it all out!

New Build! Mostly focused on Quality of Life, Presentation, and Bug Fixes, this update might seem pretty small, and it is. Except...
MARATHON RUN SUPPORT! Speed through the entire campaign in one go! Go from Halloween, to Christmas, and then The Finale! (Doesn't matter if you have it unlocked normally or not) Go for your best time and push it to the limit! Let's go! This MIGHT be the last beta before the full release on the Message Board Submissions (both when Sonic Robo Blast 2 v2.2.11 officially comes out and When it's Done™) Here's the build: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gCF0Zr9e0UVj9XaV0WQ3i_D50AK6bywB/view?usp=drivesdk

Obligatory Hotfix: Warps to Sparkling Summit and Subzero Scuffle have been fixed, and various other bugs/glitches that flew under the radar have been addressed. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gCF0Zr9e0UVj9XaV0WQ3i_D50AK6bywB/view?usp=drivesdk

As of today, I have learned how to incorporate LUA and create Slopes. You can expect an update soon. Maybe an Easter Update?

HAPPY EASTER! Did I hafta wait till midnight on Easter to make this post? No. Did I do it anyway? Yes, yes I did. Anyways, the update didn't get done in time. That's fine, there 50 Days of Easter anyways. (Assuming you're following a Roman Catholic calendar) I'm not gonna rush it. In fact, I'm going to now going to rant about the update to gain credibility on the Internet! "Slopes and Special Stages" is the name of the update, as that's the entire focus of the update: Slopes and Special Stages. Slopes don't really need an introduction. Those pseudo-slopes are outdated, and everyone knows that. Most if not all pseudo-slopes will be replaced by ACTUAL SLOPES. Now, the SPECIAL STAGES! Inspired by Sonic Heroes (the official one) and Sonic Generations 3DS, you will run down a tube to collect the required spheres to get the Chaos Emerald! Later Special Stages will require more Spheres and have a tighter time limit. Make sure you get them all! They are required for the "true ending" and something else later on, I'll leave it to you to figure THAT out! =P See ya later!

Oh boy, school work is picking up for the end of the year. Got studying and finals prep taking up my time. I really want to graduate, so I'm diverting Holiday Heroes development time towards school. Development should definitely pick back up at graduation, which is only 6 weeks from now! See ya then!
