Port Forwarding via Windows Explorer

Port Forwarding via Windows Explorer

In order to do that, all i have to do is host a game, right? Cus if that's the case, then the server still ain't working for me.

oh you might have done something wronge, you have the correct port right?

The "General" tab doesn't appear for me, only "Network Device" is this an issue with Windows 11 or smth

So basically whenever i tried saving the stuff i put into here, it just resets everything for some weird reason. other people have this issue and i have yet to find out why it happens...anyone got a clue why it does this?

Hey! Thanks for the idea. but theres this oneeeee smallll little tiny problem........ When ever i go into that portfoward menu. (you know with the router.) it never saves. all the other instructions worked instead of that one

I've tried both methods, but it still tells me "Resource unavailable." Srb2 is allowed in windows firewall as well.

at the server being available checker, what do i do there? do i put my ipv4 in the box and check it? i tried it and it said "you did not enter a public ip adress"

What if I have no "Network Infrastructure" thing in my file explorer? Everything until that has already been set (surprisingly), and then I got stuck on this.

For anyone curious... this just doesn't work with Linksys routers.

For some dumb reason, a Windows update ended up borking it a long time ago. Was already reported years prior, but Microsoft has practically done nothing to amend the situation. So if you have a router like that... then you're pretty much out of luck, and will have to resort to the traditional method of port forwarding.

Is there a way to do the portfoward without the ethernet cable???
(and yes putting the ip address on google's search bar also doesnt work)

its been working for a LONG TIME, but suddenly it dosen't want to work and keeps opening this error, then clearing everything, i've checked my ipv4 MANY TIMES to see if there was a problem, but its perfectly fine. how do i fix this issue?
