I've become addicted I can't stop playing with him send help-

Jokes aside, I REALLY like this mod, it makes sonic what is supposed to be, the real fastest thing alive, it feels you can do literally anything but at the same time, you can't do anything without skill and practice, good job man!
I really appreciate seeing people do awesome stuff with SMS. Your runs have been awesome. Hopefully we'll get more people to be able to do awesome stuff when the 3.0 controls update hits.

Ok this mod is cool and OP and all that jazz but i have a few problems with it.
(here we go) The amount of buttons this mod uses is ABSURD and it makes me really overwhelmed knowing that I can so so much.
the running animation looks a little jank when going at max speed because of the lack of the cartoony foot blur that Vanilla sonic has.
The colors on SMS are clashing and just don't mix well.
and that's.
I don't mean to sound like i hate the mod it's just some things i think are really distracting.
Most SMS' important actions are on easier to reach buttons, but he's still a crazy character using a crazy amount of buttons, so I get it. Hopefully the 3.0 controls update will mend some of your issues.

Samus is looking absolutely amazing, the fact you tackled one of my favorite character is a treat, even 2.1 one version looks amazing, it always nice to see updates for this.
Also enjoyed that History of sms video, nice to see some context as I'm newer to SRB2 community.
best of luck!
Well, welcome to the community! Hopefully I make your day with the Samus release next week!

u have a problem when i do a wall jump it doesnt face an another direction
It depends on whether you hold towards the wall or let go off the movement directions. This lets you either do wall-jump thok over an obstacle, or walljump from wall to wall properly.

Also, a little update for SMSreborn v2.3, the hotfix that works with the SRB2 2.2.9 prelease... [Download for SMSreborn v2.3]

Because 2.2.9 uses new character flags to break "strong" walls, SMS cannot break those anymore in 2.2.9. I can easily fix this by giving him the new flags, but since those don't exist in 2.2.8, that fix would break SMS entirely if used in 2.2.8. Hence, I will keep this bug in v2.3 until SRB2 2.2.9 is out officially, and I'll consider the v2.3 release unofficial until then! Thanks for understanding!

Here's the changelog for SMS v2.3.

-Experimental jump timing assist! Jump a few frames **after** walking off ledges off ledges. Good for those times your feet can barely tap the ground. Which is often as SMS.
--Experimental High-speed wall-collision steering-assist. Tell me how it feels!
--Curling from a spring with jump now insta-thoks
--Fixed bug with models.
--Compatible with 2.2.9 and hopefully future versions.

The thread has now been updated to correctly fit in with the new MB system. Since I was at it anyway and there's no downside to using it over v2.2, SMS v2.3 is now uploaded as the most recent version.

Every other outdated version has been condensed into a single zip if for whatever reason you want them!

I'm confused about a thing. What exactly are the "SMSaltmusic.pk3" and "SMSaltmusic-meme.pk3" for?
I loaded them, one at a time, together with SMS, expecting some music change to happen with his transformation, but nothing so far. Any idea?

Oh I'm pretty sure those are for battle mode, so you need SMS in a battle mode hosted?

flags are stored as a number, so what you can do is look up the flag's decimal value and if the version constant is 2.2.9 you can or the flags on using their decimal value, it wont cause synteax errors because it's a number, and it wont happen in 2.2.8 because its a different version constant.

OR... you could use version checks to choose between how things are executed. Both options would complicate code to the point of absurdity, though, so probably best to wait. 2.2.9 isn't a fully released version yet.

thats what i meant, you check the version constant and then add the flags through a number to prevent syntax errors

You wouldn't even need to do the number bit: if you just skip it if you aren't in 2.2.9 or up, then there won't be a "what is this player flag" error, since it won't be reading that code during execution.

Thats what i meant, this version of the code to support both versions!

i dont think this is a automatic super sonic without collecting any emeralds if its not like that then i dont wannit
This is FAR from being automatic Super. You're on the wrong addon page, this is, just like Almost Super Sonic, a sort of unique character, this time it's a character that's overpowered but also difficult to control (aka, sorta hard to learn, hard yet satisfying to master).

i REALLY like this character in general, he feels so fantastic to play, i can't wait to see what you got for the future!

SMSreborn v2.4 is out! This one just fixes some issues that arose with 2.2.9. SMS 2.4 isn't compatible with SRB2 2.2.8 or below, so here are the outdated versions if you need them!

Load music files after SMS is added or SMS' music files will just replace them.

Still nothing happens. Is it a music for Multiplayer events? When are the music files supposed to be heard?

Also, there's something unclear about the way you made your sentence. Are SMS' music files and these .pk3 files I mentioned two separate things? Like, does SMS' own .pk3 come with its own music files and these other .pk3's are meant to replace them?

Thank you for answering!
