                                -Disclamer-
This is mod is a passion project, created mostly by myself with no experience
coding or scripting--so please excuse any barbaric logic found in the pk3.
I did do my best to keep things neat. There also might be some Head-Canon mixed
with lore drops to make as much logical sense possiable.

                                -Attention-
Obvs, DO NOT mod/steal anything, ask first;
Esp if you feel like using something from this mod in another F-Zero mod.
Like for example--if you want my Bumpers to spawn on an F-Zero Track or
use them as Egg Prisons for an F-Zero Themed Egg Prison Map. Let me know first.

You DO have permission to add new colors straight into the color lua, save on
your load entries.

                                -Mod Goals-
It may not sound like much, but I want to keep including things that I would
love to see in F-ZERO 99. It's funny; most of my plans in my mod or mentioned
on the KKD Discord actually got added so far. Great minds think alike I guess?
I just wanna promise--that every update; big, small, holiday, patches,
whatever--will always add more colors to my mod, anyway I can get away with.
(Srs, F-ZERO 99 only has 12 colors.)

I do hope you enjoy the mod as much as I had making it.

P.S. Remember to race in a well-lit room, keep your distance from the computer
screen, honor the credits, and rate the mod on SRB2MB. Please support all
official mod releases and the F-ZERO 99 game the mod is based on.

The year is 2024. Dr. Robotnik and Tails' combined efforts in a time of peace,
have created a new power-source--the "High-Voltage Ring" (HVR for short);
a ring fused with the power of 80,000 Rings. The HVR, in need of testing,
was subjected to a new kind of go-kart--The Ring Racer. As a result, the world
enter a new age of racing; with multiple locations around the world being
reworked and geared up for the new racing hotness known as-

              D r . R o b o t n i k ' s R i n g R a c e r s

Unbeknownst to the genius duo; the HVR could act as a gateway to other
timelines, special stages, and dimensions. As if it was a heed to the call of
the HVR--racers and raceways from these other universes begin pouring
through the HVR. Of these Racers--Twelve Machines hailing from a far-off
distance future came speeding through...albeit at a smaller size.
(Akin to AGES' Daytona USA Hornet forme.)

These machines were built for speed & combat, on raceways held high above
the clouds; filled with jump-plates, explosive & spin traps, rebounding walls,
AI Controlled Bumpers, and dangerious racers that wish to rewrite the entire
universe--but can they handle the tricks and tracks of Dr. Robotnik's
Ring Racers?

Codename: FZBF
Home Track: Port Town
Color: Internova Blue
Engine Class: [B]
Body: B
Boost: C
Grip: B
Speed: 457km/h (5)
Weight: 1260kg (3)
Descr:
Normally piloted by the Legendary Bounty Hunter--Captain Falcon.
The Blue Falcon is a well-balanced machine, perfect for any racer to pickup
and race with. Loved by fans and hated by rivals; the Blue Falcon is
up to any challenge, any race, any track.

Racer Number 03 - Golden Fox
Codename: FZGF
Home Track: Mute City
Color: Golden Legacy
Body: D
Boost: S
Grip: D
Engine Class: [A]
Speed: 438km/h (3)
Weight: 1020kg (2)
Descr:
Normally piloted by the High-Flying Medico--Dr. Stewart.
The Golden Fox is a machine built by the late scientist & racer, Kevin Stewart.
Built with highspeed boosting in-mind; it trades armor protection and weight
for it's "S-Class" booster and recovery abilities. As a result, it's grip
is weak and tends to slide. In the right hands, it can dominate any race...
ANY RACE...

Racer Number 06 - Wild Goose
Codename: FZWG
Home Track: Death Wind
Color: Wild Poripoto
Body: S
Boost: B
Grip: C
Engine Class: [E]
Speed: 462km/h (6)
Weight: 1620kg (4)
Descr:
Normally piloted by Ex-Poripoto Military Special Fighting Unit
and Assassin--Pico.
Built by the Poripoto Military under the orders of General Repeat, during war
times, this machine was rebuilt for racing for his old friend and
former solider, Pico.
Designed by Sergeant Lipot; the Wild Goose is Military Grade tough.
It can take any beating and deliver it back ten-fold. Perfect for the most
reckless racers F-Zero (and Ring Racers) has ever known.

Racer Number 05 - Fire Stingray
Codename: FZFS
Home Track: Red Canyon
Color: Cryton Fire
Body: A
Boost: D
Grip: B
Engine Class: [F]
Speed: 478km/h (9)
Weight: 1960kg (5)
Descr:
Normally piloted by Cryton's Bandit Gang Leader--Samurai Goroh.
Not much is known of where or how it was created, but without any doupts--
it's illegally built with stolen parts from all over the galaxy. Fire Stingray's
high top speed requires a cool, level-headed thinking to control. Due to it's
high speed retenion; it can make turns without needing to boost afterwards.
(At least, in F-Zero & F-Zero 99.)

       THE BSX UNDERGROUND

[REDACTED] - Blue Thunder
Codename: BSBT
Home Track: Unknown
Color: Colbat Lightning
Body: B
Boost: B
Grip: B
Engine Class: [C]
Speed: 473km/h (7)
Weight: 1260kg (3)
Descr: When F-Zero got cancelled due to the infamious great crash; you only
had two options to race--Sponsored Races held by St.GIGA or illegal undergound
races. The machines of these races weren't built to code--anything goes.
Blue Thunder is rumored to be piloted by Captain Falcon; Built to combat the
Underground Machines and their non-regulated stats.

[REDACTED] - Luna Bomber
Codename: BSLB
Home Track: Unknown
Color: Shattered Star
Body: E
Boost: C
Grip: B
Engine Class: [I]
Speed: 477km/h (8)
Weight: 3800kg (9)
Descr: Rumored to be build from stolen designs by Dr. Stewart for a new, faster
F-Zero Machine--The Luna Bomber is the heaviest F-Zero machine to date; dwarfing
that of even Black Bull and Fat Shark in later years. Despite it's obscene
weight; it's a very fragile machine due to engines strapped to its sides.
It will require all the skill of any expert pilot to control such an unruly and
fragile machine.

[REDACTED] - Green Amazon
Codename: BSGA
Home Track: Unknown
Color: A.M.A.Z.O.N.E.
Body: B
Boost: A
Grip: D
Engine Class: [B]
Speed: 450km/h (4)
Weight: 890kg (1)
Descr: A highly experiential combat machine built by the Poripoto Military,
being tested as an F-Zero Machine. Codenamed: A.M.A.Z.O.N.E., the Green Amazon
has the fastest acceleration any F-Zero machine has had up to date, hitting
it's top speed within mere seconds. It shockingly sturdy, despite it's frail
appearance. No one knows what military purpose the machine would have been used
for during a time of war. If it was designed as a super-high performance
combat spacecraft; Galaxy Dog's Wyverns would be no match.

[REDACTED] - Fire Scorpion
Codename: BSFS / BSFK
Home Track: Unknown
Color: Sunset Stinger
Body: B
Boost: E
Grip: C
Engine Class: [F]
Speed: 463km/h (7)
Weight: 2152kg (6)
Descr: After the great F-Zero Accident; Goroh was seen driving around this
machine for a time. It safe to say the Fire Stingray was lost in that accident.
Without a means to rebuild it, what with stolen parts and all;
the Fire Scorpion took over.
Despite what many think--the machine was built to code; having stats that match
that of current day machines. It's a small wonder why Goroh loved his
Fire Stingray so much.

          THE BUMPERS

Purple Bumper - Plasma Snake
Codename: BPPS
Home Track: Unknown
Color: Purplesaurus
Body: C
Boost: F
Grip: B
Engine Class: [F]
Speed: Unknown (8)
Weight: Unknown (4)
Descr:
Purple Bumpers were the fastest of the mass-produced stock cars in early F-Zero.
All given out to newcomers when the sport was still young.
Able to keep up with the Famicom Four; they used to stay around 5th place and
lower. The Plasma Snake got it's name due to how it looks like a "snake head"
with it's dark colors. The "Plasma" came from the stormy night when was
christened, as purple lightning danced in the clouds like snakes.
Purple Bumpers have sadily been fully retired from racing.

Green Bumper - Hydro Frog
Codename: BPHF
Home Track: Unknown
Color: Boppin' Green
Body: B
Boost: A
Grip: C
Engine Class: [H]
Speed: Unknown (5)
Weight: Unknown (7)
Descr:
Green Bumpers were the second fastest of the mass-produced stock cars.
While not as fast as Purple Bumpers, Greens could shrug off a bump to hold
their position. Usually holding 6th and lower. The Hydro Frog got it's name due
to how it looks like a "frog head", with it's green and pink color scheme.
Kero Kero, all the way. Green Bumpers have sadily been fully retired.

Orange Bumper - Turbo Snail
Codename: BPTS
Home Track: Unknown
Color: Charged Orange
Body: C
Boost: A
Grip: B
Engine Class: [G]
Speed: Unknown (3)
Weight: Unknown (9)
Descr:
Orange Bumpers were the slowest of the mass-produced stock cars and most common.
These machines usually couldn't keep up with the pack, and would be overlapped
by the Famicom Four. Due to their slow speed and being able to shrug of any
kind of bump; they and the rest of stock cars got renamed to "Bumpers".
These "Bumpers" are now colored to an Iron Grey, feeding Grand Prix racers
KOs to improve their Power Gauge.

"Turbo Snails" are the lovely nickname given to the Bumpers by F-Zero Fans
everywhere; and is how this Bumper got it's name. The reason to it's name, is
due to its orange and yellow color scheme matching that of snail shells, and the
steering-tubes look like it's antenna.

Pink Bumper - Demonic Slug
Codename: BPDS
Home Track: Unknown
Color: Nuclear Pink
Body: E
Boost: A
Grip: A
Engine Class: [A]
Speed: Unknown (1)
Weight: Unknown (3)
Descr:
When an Orange Bumper's power level reachs critical; its engine's
reactor would give off enough heat to make it change colors. These flashing,
slower, hot pink bumpers became known as "Bomb Bumpers". Early Pilots were
usually forced to jump ship--at risk of being blown up from any hard bump.
Some racers call these Demon Machines or Devil Machines.
"One Bump with the Devil and you're done."
Bumpers have been replaced by AI or Remote-Control over the years,
ensuring pilot safety to these driving hazards. These "Bomb Bumpers" are
now colored Red and give off a hissing fuse-like noise.

This old Bumper was repainted Pink, in honor of those dangerious early days.
It's name, "Demonic Slug", is in honor of the days of being called
"Demon Machines", but also looking like Slugs with their antenna-looking
steering-tubes.

the finale of Death Wind 1 and Silence 1. Short, Simple, Savory.

This Emerald Green color was made to honor of the Knight League.

Name: Knight's Stare
Cockpit: White
Primary: Ice
Secondary: White
Descr: The Frozen Knight League (Dec. 19th, 2023 - Jan. 16th, 2024) was a
not only winter themed event; but the first event F-Zero 99 ever had. Lore wise;
no one knows why Snow suddenly started covering up all of Knight League (even
on Silence; a planet with no atmosphere)--but the F-Zero Committee capitalized
on the moment.

This color is a reminder of the cold stare this event gave, to those who dared
challanged it. Were you one of the lucky few to make it to Frozen Silence?

Name: Queen's Smile
Cockpit: Grey
Primary: Topaz
Secondary: Grey
Descr: Welcome To Queen League! Who's gonna win and get the Queen's smile?
You? You'd have to deal with the well-rounded intermediate tracks of F-Zero.

Starting off with a nice warm-up on Mute City 2 and Port Town 1, dealing with
the hectic nature of the short track Red Canyon 1, then the one-two combo
of White Land 1 & 2. White Land 2's "Gap" seperates the men from the boys in
the harshest way possiable--Crash Out. It's always hungry for more machines;
will you be it's next victum?

This Topaz Yellow Green will surely put a smile on the Queen's face.

Name: Queen's Jubilee
Cockpit: Festive Purple
Primary: Pink Spindel
Secondary: Firework Orange
Descr: The Festival Queen League (Jul. 3rd, 2024 - Jul. 31st, 2024) was the
second event F-Zero 99 experienced. A rather shocking update after a long
drought--The F-Zero Committeee threw the biggest party for the Summer Season.
With Gemsparks raining from every firework explosion; racers collected as many
they could to win the coveted and first ever; Top 999 leaderboard badge.

This color is a reminder of this jubilee, one I'm sure many will never forget.

Name: King's Glory
Cockpit: Grey
Primary: Ruby
Secondary: Grey
Descr: Welcome To King League! Are you up for a challange? This is not for the
faint-of-heart--Expert Only. All tracks here will test your meddle; Even
Mute City has toughed up with narrower, jagged straights. All of The
Famicom Four's home tracks make thier appearance here.

Mute City 3 is a good warm-up of what's to come; as Death Wind 2, Port Town 2,
and Red Canyon 2 will remind you who's boss.
Each of these 4 tracks bring out the best of the home machine strengths.
It all end on Fire Field, the most infamous track of them all; the "dark souls"
track of F-Zero so to speak. One wrong move and you most certainlly will
rank or crash out. This track seperates the Masters from the men.

This Ruby Red color is the glory that all true F-Zero Masters strive for.

Name: Ace's High
Cockpit: Grey
Primary: Sapphire
Secondary: Grey
Descr: Welcome To Ace League! Who's ready for a victory lap? The Ace League was
once an unoffical set of tracks run by underground F-Zero fanatics. It was
briefly sponsored by die-hard F-Zero Commitee Members that refused to let
F-Zero die; after the great F-Zero Accident, back in 1996-1997.
Making a shocking, permanent, and offical return for the
1 Year Anniversary Event (Oct 1st, 2024 - Oct. 22nd); Ace League will test
the die-hard fans on 5 Tracks built as "end-caps" final trials.

Mute City 4 goes by in a flash before you know it, no time to warm-up; we got
races to run and win here!
Sand Storm 1 & 2 are stuck in perma-sandstorms of Sand Ocean, with visiablity
worsening as the race progresses; with Big Blue 2 smack dab in the middle.
It finally ends with Silence 2, a track with jump-plates acting as guard-rails,
for one last frantic run. All 5 tracks require advanced knowledge of jump-plate
and speed-pad mechanics for a solid run.

This Sapphire Blue is the High all F-Zero Fans felt, seeing this League return
after so long. However, we still wonder if another League will pop up in the
future, with more tracks not seen in years.

you youngins. I will be awaiting any data you gather on this strange
phenomena my creation has preformed. Perhaps it's trying to overcome it's
weakness to fire? Or does it just wish to race with you all?
That reminds me--I had a project for an ulitmate racer a few years back. Based
on the data of the best racer in our universe. It didn't turn out to well;
going hayware and overclocking the item system--in a attempt to win at any cost.
Perhaps I should try him once more with a few more safety checks...

Name: Doomed Marine
Cockpit: Dark Grey
Primary: Green
Secondary: Light Tan
Descr: The Colors the famious marine that battled the forces of hell several
times over--"Doomguy". (Aka Player 1.) He wasn't able to show for Ring Racers,
a touch upsetting. Guess he was too busy hunting and slaying. I'll spare the
details of his story; all you really have to know is--this pissed off marine
would take on Hell's Invasion, when all the UAC Marines of Phobos were
presumed dead. It is rumored he wasn't alone, however.
