----------------Introduction-------------
Oh, hello there!
Few months ago, I did the guide on how to use 3D Models on Android Port of SRB2. So, this time, its all about bosses, with all shapes and sizes. With this guide, Eggman won't even stand a chance against you! Let's get started!

---------------Before the Brawl---------
1. Every boss in this game has a pinch mode, where the boss gets way more stronger with it's attacks ALA how you see in Sonic 4. Remember that when you hit 5 times, the boss gets furious and stronger, so be careful!
2. This guide is only for Vanilla SRB2, so it won't be same for example, Angel Island Tour.
3. You are given 10 rings into your Rings counter, meaning you don't need to overreact instantly (the same way as in the prototypes of Sonic 3D Blast). You will, however, need to quickly pick them up once you get hit!

B-B-B-Boss Fight Time!!

----------------GreenFlower------------
- Stats
> Name: Egg Laser/ Egg Zapper
> Takes 8 hits to beat
> Has 2 attack patterns
> One in Normal, one in Pinch

- Normal Mode
Being in his Eggmobile, Dr. Eggman shoots a laser that can reach any corner of the arena. It's always straight, meaning that you can escape before he shoots. After he shoots the laser, jump on him to take a hit. When you do it in quick succession, he will fly away from you, but he will still be in the arena.

- Pinch Mode
You made him mad, so now he shoots 3 lasers in whoping 3 times! That means you will have to dodge 9 straight lasers (per attack to remind you), so watch out! When he shoots them all, it will be your chance to hit him. Hit him 3 times and you have won the fight, with the next one in Techno Hill. Don't be late for the Tram Station, or your out for good!

- When he is about to fly away, try to hit him. If you do, he is flying away from you again. Do this trick 8 times and he will be defeated. Just watch out for him to not get too far away!
- Use Fang's popgun. His popgun can reach any enemy within it's range, and it's same here, too! Use the popgun to attack Dr.Eggman before he shoots a laser. Be careful, because you have to follow him when he is about to fly away.

- You can't attack Dr. Eggman when is he about to push the button to shoot the laser. That way, you will get hit, and you wont the get the Ring Guard emblem.
- Don't use Tails' flight to get high up. Just because you can fly, that doesn't mean that Dr. Eggman can't aswell!

-----------------Techno Hill----------------
- Stats
> Name: Egg Slimer
> Takes 8 hits to beat
> 2 attack patterns
> One in Normal, one in Pinch

- Normal Mode
Now, your in a somewhat of a tram that's moving underground, probably sending the player to whatever location it goes. This is where the second Boss Fight is happening as Eggman is now in his Egg Slimer. When in Normal Mode, he flys around the arena in a circle, shooting toxic slimes as he goes. Upon hitting him, he changes his flying direction, so keep that in mind!

- Pinch Mode
When in Pinch Mode, Eggman is using his pogo part of Egg Slimer to jump on you, while also leaving a circle of toxic slime as he jumps. When you hit him 3 times, it will be time for you to get to Deep Sea and press on with your journey. And as Sonic games tend to go, you are getting into the Blue Blur's worst nightmare: Water.
*dum dum DUUUUUM*
- Keep following his flying directions. If you'r skilled enough, this shuld be a peace of cake. Keep in mind that Eggman can change direction by himself, so don't think following him is going to be as easy as you thought!
- Use Fang's popgun. Just like the previous boss fight, use the popgun to attack Dr.Eggman.

- Dont think toxic slimes are a danger just because they are small. You will be suprised when you realize it.
- Don't go too behind while following the boss, because as stated, he shoots toxic slime.

----------------Deep Sea-------------
Stats
> Name: Sea Egg
> Takes 8 hits to beat
> 4 attack patterns
> 2 patterns for both modes

- Normal Mode
Taking place on a top of a tower, Eggman is in his Sea Egg. Now at first, you don't see him, but he comes from underwater to attack you. When he appears, he shoots an electric circle that can reach every corner of the map. If that wasn't enough, he also shoots missles! When he doesn't shoot anything, hit him. Once you do, he goes underwater again and appears in a diffrent part of arena. Watch out for him to not get behind you, though!

- Pinch Mode
If you thought one Dr.Eggman was enough for you, how about more? That's right, when you've done the 5th hit, Eggman's clones get out of the water and copy the real Eggman's attacks, except for one certain attack pattern: Now, with many more
Eggmans, try to find one which looks quite suspicous. Hit him 3 three times and you deafeated him and the clones.
It is time to escape from the liquidfull nightmares and move onto the Castle.

--------------Castle Eggman----------
- Stats
> Name: Egg Colloseum
> Takes 8 hits to beat
> 2 patterns
> One for each mode

- Normal Mode
Now, you'r gonna battle in a real arena, The Egg Colloseum. This is where Egg Robos get entertained, especially now, because you'r battling Eggman here! This time around, Eggman is in a cage that cant be destroyed. Instead, you have to jump on coloured switches in a certain order to open the cage. You have 5 seconds to hit him, so be fast! To make this bit more harder, there are spikeboulders chained together with the cage which will go around the arena. Once you've done the hit, the way spikeboulders are going to is going opposite, and floor will start collapsing with each hit.

- Pinch Mode
With the 5th hit, 75% of the floor has turned into thorns, and switches are now destroyed, with inside of them being springs. This is the segment where they will send you into a place where Egg Robos watch you fight. As for Eggman, he flew up, and does circles around the collapsed floor. However, he also has the spikeboulders used in a previous phase. To hit him, you must be on top of the arena, and then jump on Dr. Eggman when he is close to you. When you hit him, he gets away from you and he completes a circle (in opposite direction) faster. Do it 3 times and you won this painful boss.

- Use the top of the Colloseum as your advantage during the Normal Mode. It will help you jump on switches and to avoid the chained Spikeboulders.

- Don't think Egg Robos will be friendly to you, because if you get to their seats, one of them will follow you. If he gets too close to you, he punches you to the floor with thorns. Now you know you shuldn't mess with this dudes.
- You can't use the springs in the switches when the Spikeboulder is too close to you. It will hit you and send you back to the floor, most likely into the throns. How spiky!

----------------Arid Canyon-------------
Stats
> Name: Fang The Sniper / Nack The Weasel / Fang The Huntet
> Takes 8 hits to beat
> 5 attack patterns
> 2 for Normal, 3 for Pinch

- Normal Mode
Now, we wont be fighting Eggman...for now at least. But we still have some trouble, because Fang the Sniper is ready to fight inside an Arid Canyon Train. When he gets out of the scrap box when starting the boss fight, he will see you. Once he does, he jumps around the arena using his pogo-hopper tail. When he stops, he can do 2 attack patterns:
> 1. Popgun that can shoot you 3 times and knock you back
> 2. Explosive Bomb which yeets to a wall

When Fang does his attack, he starts to laugh at you (maybe because you were either dodging his attacks or you got hit by them). Take it as your advantage and hit him. Once you did, he will be jumping again.

- Pinch Mode
Now, after 5 hits, Fang returns to the scrap box where he went out at the start. Then, he throws lots of bombs which destroy all the walls and the roof, so now its more dangerous as one bomb will make you knocked of the train! The attack patterns are same, but this time, Fang drops a bomb on place where he jumped on. Hit him 3 times and you beat him + you got him as a playable character.

When Fang comes out of the box at the start of the battle, you can hit him before he sees you. This allows you to defeat him earlier.

Despite Red Volcano, Dark City and Egg Rock (as of writing this update, which is August 22th, 2024) being unfinished, we still aren't quite done yet. Our heroes are yet to face the guts of metal!

------------Black Core Act 2------------
- Stats
> Name: Metal Sonic
> Takes 8 hits to beat
> Has 6 attack patterns
> 5 for Normal, 1 for Pinch

- Normal Mode
After the race with him, it's time for you to fight Metal Sonic. The arena is a lift which is going downards, but with no walls you can rely on since they are away from the lift, so be careful! As for Metal, he flys around you for a while, which gives you a chance to hit him. Upon hitting him, he flys away from you, and then he got stunned, allowing you to hit him once again, with that being the first true hit. When you do it, he gets into sky, and shoots an energy ball at you. Energy ball paterns are based on his health. The patterns are as following (copied from Wiki):
"If he has 8 health points or more, he will fire a single large energy ball. If he has 5–7 health points, he will fire a row of small energy balls. If he has 4 health points, he will fire three large energy balls consecutively. Finally, if he has 3 health points or less, he will fire eight large energy balls in rapid succession. "

- Pinch Mode
When in pinch, Metal Sonic is really damaged, but is still able to fight. When he gets in the sky, he does his version of Super Peel-Out to get down attack you like a metallic ball inside a pinball machine. Be careful, as that peelout can hit you! When he is over with being fast, hit him. Do it 3 times, and you beated Metal. As we defeated Metal Sonic, we see the 7 Chaos Emeralds on the grasp of our hands..or so we thought. It was a bait, of course! It is time for:

---Black Core Act 3: The Finale---
- Stats
> Name: Black Eggmam/Brak Eggman/ Metal Robotnik (in USA translation from Sonic OVA)
> Takes 12 hits to beat
> Has 4 patterns

- Normal Mode
Black/Brak Eggman is (currently) the final boss of this game, and it will test all the skills you learned throught the whole adventure. At the start, he has an electricity shield, which doesnt allow you to attack him, so don't even try to hit him. Luckly, some pipes were installed in this arena which drop chemical water. That water can disable Brak Eggman's shield, and it allows you to hit him. However, he does have 4 attack patterns up his sleeves, and they are:

> Homing missle which aims at you and then shoots you with succes. You can hide behind the boxes for protection, though!
> Firethrower that follows you around
> Metal bullets that work like Fang's popgun cork and his bomb knockback together, forming a deadly weapon to anyone in his path
> Egg Bomb which not only does an expolsion, but also leaves a wide circle of fire when bomb touches the ground

- Pinch Mode
When taking only 3 hits left to defeat him, small walls around the arena are destroyed, and Black/Brak Eggman uses all the weapons one by one. This makes the boss fight pretty frustating if you have no rings, as all it takes is one hit and your doing the fight again. Hit him 3 times, and you did it. The final boss is beaten, and only thing you need is to get inside the escape capsule and watch as Black Rock escapes to safety and Egg Rock goes kaboom!

--------The Best and the Worst Characters------
Now that we get to talk about all bosses, let's what characters are best to use in each fight. Sone might be perfect all-around, and some might be the pick you wish to regret. However, if you "main" the certain worst chararacters, or just disagree with me for whatever reason, feel free to use him; though it might be harder.

Greenflower Zone
The best option is Fang, mainly because of his popgun. The worst is Knuckles, as his jump height makes the slightly higher hills very nessecary.

Techno Hill Zone
The best option for this one is Sonic because his thok can hit Eggman more faster than by normally. The worst here is Amy, because she has to use the Piko-Piko Hammer to attack a frickin' Crawla.

Deep Sea Zone
The only good characters for this fight are Fang & Sonic once again, because of his popgun. The worst one should be Knuckles & Amy, because as for the former, walls are not helpful here AND his very smaller jump height; the latter carrying the already-mentioned issues.

Castle Eggman Zone
The best option here is Tails, as he can dodge spikeboulders while flying, and he can use the strats I gave in Castle Eggman fight. The worst here is easily Amy. As stated before, she has to use her hammer, and even if she has a bigger jump height, that doesn't help as it is very difficult to hit Eggman with the hammer and not get hit by anything around you, especially in the Pinch where you can fail your shot sometimes. Do not use her if you want to lose your nerves.

Arid Canyon Zone
Once again, the best option is Tails, as he can dodge bombs and popgun corks while flying. The worst here is Sonic, as if you aren't skilled with the Thok, you are most likely to use it and fall onto the real ground while in Pinch (which is a bottomless pit here).

Black Core Zone Act 2
Here, I reccommend the Sonic & Tails duo, because Sonic can hit Metal, while Tails can help him dodge energy balls and Metal's peelout mid-air. Worst here are Knuckles & Amy, as they both have the even amount of cons.

Black Core Zone Act 3
For this one, the best one is Sonic & Tails duo once again, with Sonic able to hit Brak and avoid obstacles on Normal Mode and Tails helping you to survive in Pinch Mode.
Worst here? It has to be both Knuckles and Amy again, both for even amount of cons.
