Have you ever wondered what SRB2 would be like with more badniks? Well then, here you are!
This badnik pack consists of 11 badniks (so far), including 2 prototype badniks, 8 Sega Genesis & CD badniks, and a joke badnik that may have you contemplating life choices.
--- Prototype (SEGA GENESIS) ---
Big Jaw - Probably my first ever badnik. (Debuts in Sonic 1 Tokyo Toy Show Prototype, 1990)
This badnik is rather complicated - upon noticing you, it jumps backward before chasing after you. Alongside that, the badnik also plays a cool nice death animation. I'm not spoiling it, see for yourself.
-----------
Beta Snail/BSnail - Horribly drawn. (Debuts in Sonic 2 Prototype (Nick Arcade/Simon Wai), 1992)
As for now, just a crawla copypaste. However, in a future update, I'll give it the ability to charge, like the Genesis version does.
[KNOWN ISSUE: BSnail doesn't charge at you like his genesis counterpart. I'll be fixing that soon and giving it entirely new behaviour]
--- SEGA Genesis ---
Motobug - The classic we all know and love. (Debuts in Sonic 1, 1991)
Another crawla copypaste. Just chases you around. Need I say more?
----
Buzz Bomber - The pissant we all know and hate. (Debuts in Sonic 1, 1991)
Like it's Genesis counterpart, this badnik aims at you when in range, shoots a projectile and flies away, just before returning to bombard you again.
----
Chopper - The NPC we all know and... I don't know? (Debuts in Sonic 1, 1991)
Hops around, that's it. You can't even change how high it jumps. I'll add that once I fix a bug related to it.
----
Caterkiller - Code taken from S1Badniks by BadOmenThingy. Check it out! (Debuts in Sonic 1, 1991)
This badnik chases you around by hopping. Simple as that. [Sometimes it can clip through it's own body, but that's just fine, nothing to fix.]
----
Slicer - We don't talk about Slicer. (Debuts in Sonic 2, 1992)
As for now, this badnik shoots off 2 blade projectiles in different directions. Later on, I'll try and make the projectiles homing.
----
Eggrobo - How spectacular! (Debuts in Sonic 3 & Knuckles, 1994)
This badnik flies and aims at you, releasing 5 laser beams at a time. This badnik has an unique death animation too, check it out!
----
Bubbles - Majestically popping out spikes is it's job. (Debuts in Sonic 3 & Knuckles, 1994)
This badnik hovers around, surprising players with pop-out spikes. You're unable to attack it when the spikes are exposed, however once the spikes retract, you can fire your attack safely.
--- SEGA CD ---
Anton - Lamest name for a badnik ever. (Debuts in Sonic CD, 1993)
This badnik's purpose is to take you down. It jumps forward unexpectedly once it finds you. Then, chases you like YET ANOTHER crawla copypaste.
--- JOKE BADNIKS ---
Baldi - Welcome to Crazy's Badnik Pack in Modding and Scripting! (Debuts in Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning, 2018)
This badnik... - sorry, I mean BALDnik - behaves like Baldi would like in the game. Chases you around by moving a few inches forward every ruler slap. What a slowpoke.
You can use any of these badniks to any of your wishes! Perhaps create an anton avalanche? or..
a BALDI BUNDLE ??
poor chibi godzilla
