How to use my gamepad triggers in SRB2Kart?

I've started playing Kart recently and think it would be more comfortable to map the acceleration button to one of the triggers, but both of them simply aren't registered in the remapping menu. Is there a way to enable the triggers?

You can map the triggers in the Gamepad Options menu.

alright, thanks, it worked. For some reason I never bothered actualy testing it.
