what is the requirements to get to special stages
earlier i was playing Ring racers when I thought I was going to a special stage, but then it just skipped to the placements, even though last time I got to go to the special stage, so what are the requirements?

Long story short, you have to do well enough. Not on Relaxed mode.

To access the special stages, you have to consistently get A-Ranks in a Grand Prix. Avoid using continues, and make sure you aren't playing on Relaxed (Easy).

If you're playing on the Master difficulty, on the other hand, you just have to reach 1st place by the end of a Grand Prix cup.
