Duplicate Spectator Fail

When I joined a netgame today, I hit the throw ring button to spawn, like I always do. I didn't go to a spawn point, I just converted right to player mode, yet the 'you are a spectator' was still showing!

This happend to me too but sometimes if you really do the glitch you get cfail (or unless the server saves you or does nothing).
 
Hm... I think it was 2 weeks ago. Then got cfail... happend to me 3 times. (4 months ago, 1 month ago, and 2 weeks ago.)
