What if someone made a source engine version of srb?

I'd think that they just wasted too much time for too little effort.

Then I'd probably play it once, decide it sucked, and delete it.

And then empty my Recycle Bin, it's been a while since I have. :/

Depends. No, if it's a port. Yes, if it's a sequel and there's still enough interest and talent to keep user content flowing.

Why would anyone want to make a port of the original Sonic Robo Blast? You would have to be insane to do such a thing...oh wait.

In all seriousness, to make a source port of SRB2 wouldn't be a good idea. If you want to make such an effort, you might as well make your own game with your own ideas. There won't be any official ports of SRB2 to any other engine ever.
