Both Mac port I've played (Alams and Sappharads) are having a few problems.
1. In CEZ the swinging chains that don't go around in a full circle pause in the middle. This makes CEZ2 impossible as Sonic. The chain stuck: Sonic stuck: 2. The boss in THZ3 stops and stays in one place whenever he changes directions. After you hit him he'll just stay in that same spot until you hit him again or until he changes directions automatically. I don't mind this though, it makes the boss much easier. I can finally beat him in below 30 seconds. =P 3. I can't join netgames with srb2.wad! In 1.09.4, Sappharad's port was able to join a Windows or Mac netgame with no problem, in fact me and a few friends used to play on my LAN using both Macs and PCs, so what's the reason the Mac port's preventing it? If it can connect to another Mac, at least that's something, but I haven't tried it yet, and no one plays any public netgames on the Mac anyway. If it does work connecting from Mac to Mac, could the next port at least remove all the netgames that won't work on the Mac from the list? Edit: Nevermind about CEZ being impossible as Sonic. I found another route. Last edited by Cheese; 4 Weeks Ago at 11:38 PM. Reason: Removed images (bug fixed long time ago) |

I'm having two big issues with the PSP port right now.
1.) The game still crashes if I'm fully submerged in water. That already happened in the 1.09.4 version. 3.) After finishing GFZ1 the game crashes. In 1.09.4 I was able to get past TH2 before crashing. |

Whenever I try to load the PSP version, it boots up, and after the PSP logo, its black for a couple of seconds, then turns off...
What firmware do you suppose I should use? |

Mac PPC is not opening for me, it does the double bounce in the dock, then just doesn't load.

Do you have srb2.srb and all the other data files in the same folder as your eboot?

How are you even able to boot it up? I get met with a "Corrupted Data" notice where the SRB2PSP file should be.

The SRB2PBP needs to be renamed to EBOOT.PBP and put it in /PSP/GAME/SRB2/ along with all the other data files.

Ok, I've got it working, and I seem to come across the same issues as Akira. Plus, when I continue a save file (which does not load in GFZ1) the game crashes as well. Plus It's a tad choppy as well.

Why would you want to use the console when there is no keyboard to type commands?

please note without a PSP<->PC link, I can not debug this as far I wanted to
look at the log files the PBP drops(srb2log.txt), and also, you need the WAD files in the folder....
