Me: THE PSN'S BACK YES!
Mum: Yeah, I heard on the radio this morning...
Me: Why didn't you tell me before?! AAAAAH!
Literally what happened when I read Autosaver's post.

Duh, obviously it refers to an entire merchandising system in wich a single company or person is the one who possesses all the products, and other enterprises depend on it or are controlled by it.

Yeah, in the same market. PSN isn't a Monopoly it's part of an Oligopoly for console online play, as in the market is dominated by PSN and XBL. Sony isn't the one requiring you to use PSN on games, that's the game devs making it that way, it's their choice.

PSN's back up? Off to completely reap the advantages of having a free month of Plus :3

EDIT: And then I learned that the PS Store was still down >_>

Duh, online was the main priority for them since everyone wanted it so bad. I'm sure they said everything will be back up by May 31st.

I
got this from the Sega forums, there was no link. I'm betting it's on the PS blog though.

I think I had a PSN account for my PSP, may well have to make use of this to grab LBP PSP...

In other news, they've had it again, and this time the passwords were plain text.

That is a disgrace, even here we encrypt all your passwords with two MD5 hashes and a separate salt (going before the second hash, makes it even harder to crack) for each user. It's funny when you realise this message board is more secure than Sony's user database.

<Flame> Damnit Sony, stop giving me weird boners.

With all due seriousness though, Sony needs to pull it's act together, and fast. Simple as that.
