Make room for Dr. Sonic!
I'm making a character wad (not adding it to here, since it's more of using sprites already existing), but it constantly keeps getting this error.

I have converted the colours and stuff, why does it not work?

How have you arranged the graphics and sprites in your file exactly?

...Or, to be more specific, is TEMIA0 the first thing after the S_SKIN lump?

No, those kind of sprites should be totally acceptable, I've seen characters with single sprites for each frame before.

May be easier to post the wad so we can check it out for ourselves, I can't think what else could be going wrong.

Okay, I found the REAL issue: the full error message I get mentions that frame ^ is missing. Your window must have cut that part of the message off.

Change your second TEMI\0 to TEMI^0. If SLADE complains, go into Preferences, select "Editing" in the window, and check the "Use percent encoding" box.

I've done that and it works! Thank you!
