Okay when I was trying to make a floating platform with my new map, the platforms went down and than when they got ready to come back up it closed because of a error. I've read the specials list, but I was still confused, so does anyone know how to make linedef 232 go up after going down without sigserving.

Maybe you should delete that FOF, and redo it all over again.
Or... you could upload it so we can see/fix the problem (*coughSendSpacecough*)

"Sigserv?" Um, hang on, lemme check up on that...

*flips through Wiki*

Uh, nope, no such thing. Lemme see your map, I may be able to fix it.

Okay, before I download it, I'm gonna take a wild guess as to what's wrong:
The control sector for the FOF needs 3 connected sectors. One for top height, one for starting height, one for bottom height.

Ok. Your floating platform is only 1 control sectore.

It needs to be 3. The left being the highest height your platform can reach, the middle being what height it is when the level first loads, and the right the lowest point your platform can reach. By the way, FOFs need the entire sector to have a main texture, or it won't work right.

Oh, and those who don't really don't know what linedef action 232 is,
it's:

Linedef Action 232: Activate Floating Platform

Offtopic Definition:

To enable a floating platform to move up and down.

Useful for making kinds of levels where you have to jump on a platform
and rise up to the next floor and continue on.

Offtopic Definition Over.\

Edit: I decided to fix it up, just PM me and you can analyze it.
