Spheres

I would adore this more if you took it a little further and have the red spheres do something bad to the player or the players in the multiplayer server, to offer an added challenge.

Hm...going off Blaze's post...just a quick idea for multiplayer.

- Capture the spheres
- Spheres start out grey
- If Blue team touches the spheres they turn blue.
- If red team touches them, they turn red
- Time limit
- Team with most of their color spheres wins at the end?

Etc.

If that's the case, it can be a custom gametype all alone. I like this idea.

Same. I think we should call it Spheres (no sarcasm intended) and the objective would be to collect the most amount of spheres in a space of time, the most to collect would win. Simple

So....returning to coop after team match gets you this bug.

Also, red spheres arent hurting me for some reason?

I'm feeling iffy about this, but I feel like co-op should have "color-coded" spheres to symbolize what player touched the spheres, with a damage log to support ("'hurt player' was hit by 'touched players' sphere.)

What if the player is blue or grey? Ever thought about that?

Coop is fine the way it is. Blue is okay, red hurts, something everyone can understand. Anything more than that would make it confusing in a way or another.

But what happens when we add SKINCOLOR_GREYSCALEGHOST to 2.2?????????*

*this isn't actually happening, i'm just being a bad person

I thought of the most ridiculous stage for this. Terrible design. Terribly fun.

- Giant death pit
- Many of these casino bumpers
- Bumpers are spread out both vertically and horizontally
- Spheres in between the bumpers
- Try not to die

A couple of the included maps aren't too great. Tropical Island, especially, has a really asymmetric and confusing layout. Way too much of the level is tiny (sloped!) platforms over a big death pit and there's also some bad texturing (especially near the beginning). Granted, it wasn't designed for this pack, but I don't feel like it really works for it. Central City's skybox is very disorienting as well. Most of the maps are playable, but rather bland aesthetically, especially Volcano and Yellow Desert.
