I use the functionality that comes with my graphical environment (KDE SC 4.4 running on Linux). You shouldn't have to install extra software just to be able to use custom themes, something I consider to be a barebones requirement of any operating environment.

Yesterday, I decided to change my wallpaper and clean up my desktop a bit.
Here is the result:

UPDATE!

On my old computer I had the taskbar on the left side. I changed it when I got my new one, though. Don't really know why... =/

You really ought to get rid of that "empowering Technology" bloatware sitting at the top of the screen.

You guys and your tiny screen resolutions. I can't live with anything less than 1600x1050 myself.

Also, bringing an end to the Ubuntu/Windows streak with this. :3

His real name is David, yes.

Anyways, update time, since I got a new monitor:
Workspace 1. This is where I'll spend most of my time, mainly because it's where I keep my browser/IRC window/game stuff/etc.

Workspace 2. This is where all my programming goodness and stuff goes, to keep it out of the way of the rest of my stuff.

Workspace 3. I never do anything here, but this is where the IRC bots and stuff that I run in the background go so they don't take up space on the other two workspaces.

And just for kicks, my netbook I got recently:
