Recently, I found a ripped sonic model from Super Smash Bros. Brawl that I wish to convert to a md2 for srb2.The problem is that the md2 will not show up in game.(invisible character/sig serv)
Before you all tell me things I already know....
-Yes, it is titled Play.md2(and it is and md2 file)
-Yes, it has a Play.pgn for its texture
-Yes, it has all 34 frames that srb2 needs
-And yes, I have made other Md2 models for srb2 that work

My only idea is that it is simply to big in file size, being a huge 870KB.
So if you think you know what my problem is, or a way around it please comment.
p.s. this is the model im trying to convert.

Can you actually read the MD2 file? MD2 models have a pretty low triangle limit, if I recall.

Well, I have it SAVED as a md2 file and am able to open it if thats what you mean.
But I think srb2, or my computer, have a low triangle limit. When I try to use it in V1.09.4 I get an error message in consle sayin something about the triangles.

I think I recall something about MD2 having a vertices limit. 4096, probably. There might also be another limit, but I've forgotten all about how MD2s work.

MD2 has a self-imposed limit of 4096 triangles. Some programs might ignore this limitation, but SRB2 adheres to the Quake 2 MD2 spec.

Now if we had MD3....hmm....

Thank you SSNTAILS that was exactly the kind of answer I was looking for.
