Theatryhthm Final Fantasy is another game in the Dissidia franchise line. Basically, all the Final Fantasy characters get together in a world. Previously, the evil FF characters would be on one side and the good FF on the other. Not sure about this one as it focuses more on actual bosses from previous FFs. (Ultros one for example)
Previous games in the franchise line were 3D fighters. This one plays more like a music RPG. To attack, you have to correctly hit the beat with your stylus. There are also other modes where FMVs from previous FFs and videos play in the background while you try to get a high score.
A cool thing (And something a lot of people complain about) Square decided to do was use a new art style for this game. This explains the reason why you may think the characters look "funny." I personally think it looks cool and sprites can undo limitations of the graphics chip inside the 3DS.
This game is currently an exclusive for 3DS.
