That's because you're on dialup. Dialup cannot support an internet connection AND a phone call at the same time.

Just don't phone your friend and you'll be fine.
 
I've been having the same problem. I advertise my server on the internet and my freind still can't find me. :?

i don"t have dialup I have dsl.
