Eragon AKA "Lets make a crappy book into a movie!"

Well... I went to see this today...
My friend and I both agreed that Jermey Irons must of lost a bet or something to be in this ripoff fest.
Whats it about you ask?
Well, take one part Pern, two thirds Earthsea, and a dash of LotR and you get Eragon the book... now add in a pinch of Dragonheart and you get this movie...
And if you haven't read any of the above things that I have mentioned, I would recommend doing so instead of reading this book OR seeing this movie.

And now to complete my craptacular review, I now present to you all:
Eragon: Mystery Science Theater 3000 style!

So, uhh, this cliche book got insanely popular and moneymaking to the point where it has an actually somewhat decent looking movie?

I should write a cliche book sometime. I am a teenager. Any neat looking book I write gets instantly famous.

Defidently a Lord of the Rings spoof. Paolini was probably an admirer. I really hope I don't see it.
