Here you can post your PC specifications for others to see, either to brag about them or just to show them and weep over how old it it. I don't know if this has already been done before so if it has feel free to lock the topic.

I don't know much about this so can someone tell me what is the most powerful (Graphics wise) game I can actually run using this PC? Because I have no bloody idea (Thanks if you can tell me this).

The Primary Hard Disk is a lie, it's a 1TB in two partitions (C+G).
And yeah, my RAM is pretty low, I had to go budget on the RAM to pay for the CPU and such, I'm upgrading to 8GB DDR3 sooner or later (£100~).

So far I know this computer can play, HL2 full series, TF2, Portal, Doom 3, GarrysMod, SRB2 of course, S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl plays at a decent speed on low/med quality, and well uh.. Steam games other than L4D run fine.

Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) III CPU 800MHz
Memory: 320MB RAM
Hard Drive: 120 GB Total
Video Card: RADEON 9200 SERIES (128MB)
Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster 710v
Operating System: TinyXP Rev 09 (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3 (2600.xpsp.080413-2111)

Don't worry. I'm getting a new one soon, and I mean it this time too.

Processor is AMD Athlon +3500 2.3 Ghz
RAM is upgraded from 446 MB to 1.4 GB
Graphics Card was recently updated from Integrated Geforce 6100 to Geforce 9500.
Hardrives, two internal 90 gigs each, two external, one 9 gigs from my first computer, other is 1 TB.
Windows XP SP2.

In all honesty, I've put about 200 dollars into making this computer fit my needs. I would have been better off just buying a new one.

$200 isn't much for a PC...

£447 for the CPU, MB and Case
£23 for the RAM, soon to be £100
£150 for the graphics card
£120 for the sound card
£80 for the 1tb
£40 for the 250gb
£40 at the time for the 80gb

I'm not done yet, I still need to get a £60 front bay caddy, a £30 media panel for SD cards and such, two new 5.25" drives (2xDVD-RW) at £20 each. My keyboard was £50 and my mouse was £30.

My sound system was £260, my second monitor was £124, my main monitor was £300.

CPU: Intel Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz (Single core =( )
RAM: 1.5 GB
Graphics: GeForce FX5200 AGP 128MB (Upgrading pretty soon to a 512 MB ATI card)
Hard drives: 2 (used to have 3) - 120 GB Total
Direct X: XP: DX10 (lolyes, not Vista) '7: DX11 (of course)

It cost like 600 when i bought it a few years back, but I spent like 100 getting a new psu for the new card plus the card itself, etc. another 100 for the TB external. And i think 30 for the gig stick of ram. But I would've been better off buying a new computer because the processor is going to be utter crap give or take a year, if not already.

As of right now:
  • Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
  • AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4200+ at 2.2ghz
  • 2GB (2x1GB) Patriot DDR SDRAM (PC 3200) with 2-3-2-5 timings runnning at 2.5-3-3-5
  • 512MB ATI Radeon X1800 XT running at stock clocks
  • Creative SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS
  • Samsung SyncMaster 2233BW (22in. widescreen at 1680x1050, 5ms)
  • 250GB internal drive (partitioned), 500GB external drive formatted as EXT3
  • Dual-boot Windows XP Home / Kubuntu Jaunty 32-bit
The thing is three and a half years old, but it still seems to run TF2 alright.

Also, I once had Windows 7 RC installed as well, but I removed it after discovering that OpenGL was broken.

My awesome GRUB bootloader.
