City level or Forest level

What kind of level is better or more common from games? A city or forest? I also want to know your favorite.

In Sonic games or in games just general? Sonic games seem to have more forest areas then city areas, at least that's what I recall.
As for generally, I'd have no clue.
Quality wise, I don't think it makes a difference.
