Yes, it's obviously a CTF level, my very first wad file, in fact. So... how is it? (ignore the eleven posts below)

Well, technically you can do both quite easily.
To view all the games textures, simply open up the "srb2.srb" file in XWE.
Also, you can simply change a zones name in SOCEdit.
This topic also would make more sense in Suggestions and Help.

This forum is for the discussion of editing Sonic Robo Blast 2 and for questions related to it.

Hm... no, it wouldn't.

This topic has no purpose now, thanks. ^^

Scratch that, I keep getting an error every time I try to open the Level Header Editor in the SOC editor...

Is that sarcasm or did I really help you?
EDIT: What is the error?
Bah, I don't need you to tell me. I'm guessing it's this:

Make sure the SRB2 source refers to the folder: source > src

Poopy.

Erm, you could just make a MAINCFG file (it's just a generic text file) and add it to your WAD with something like XWE. Alternatively, you could just use SRB2 Doom Builder's "Edit MAINCFG lump" tool in the Scripts menu.

http://www.srb2wiki.sepwich.com/index.php?title=Level_WADs - Use this for things like level design and how to make a level header.

Also, to view all the textures in srb2.srb2, you could either load up srb2.srb in a lump editor, or just load up a texture selection dialog in a level editor. In SRB2 Doom Builder, just hit tab when in that dialog. Not sure for the other editors.

Edit: I believe my post has no use now.

Another trick is the "runsoc" header when making a level. As long as it is a lump in your Wad, you can use this to only let the soc work in a level. Create the soc then load it into the Wad but not as "MAINCFG" however.

This is used in some of the levels people have designed. Like a Final Boss soc.

damnit lupo, I told you not to post it until you fixed all the problems and made sure it was fun! *sigh*, I guess there is just no helping some people.

Ok
1. Open XWE
2. Open the WAD
3. Go to Entry -> New
4. Enter the word "MAINCFG" (All capitalized)
5. Open the SOC in a text editor, such as notepad.
6. Copy all the contents of the SOC.
7. Paste the contents into the box on the right of the screen in XWE.
8. Select another lump in the box on the left, select "Yes" when it asks you if you want to save.

And Viola, simply adding the WAD will now have the same effects of running the SOC.

I put it in editing, so I can learn what problems I need to fix, if any. =P A lot of people also said it was fun...

Thanks for the help, Draykon... ^^

Whee, I've figured all that out, and this should be moved to Releases...
