Running down walls

I was wondering, if you wanted a character (lets say Sonic) to run down a wall (like SA2B City Escape end of the level or SatSR beginning), would a SOC be able to work that out? Like when you hit the end of a horizontal path he can go down vertically (though of course if you were to jump off, you would fall off by that point).
 
Morph beat me to it. But the whole level doesn't need to be that way. You can make two seprate parts of your level. One with wind, one without. And use teleporters to go between them.

For example, pretend this is your level:
Your level [a said:
]
Normal area [b said:
]Normal stuff here.
Vertical area [c said:
]WINDY! :P
[a] represents your level. and [c] are two segments with their own seperate thok barriers and such. See how they're seperated, and not touching?

Also, there might be a situation where you'll need to make flat (floor texture) versions of wall textures.
