Okay, I've got the Controller. Now what?

Some of you might remember a thread I made a while back, asking if the XBox 360 controller was compatible with SRB2. I've got the controller (finally), now I need to know what each stick and button is, according to SRB2. There are two joysticks, a control pad, a start button, so on and so on. Help?
 
Just start pressing buttons and see what works. You can map the controls in Options.
 
Umm... Something's happening and I don't know why. You know the XBox Logo on the top center of the controller? 1/4 of it is lit up. What's that mean?
 
Same as when you play on the 360, what quarter is lit indicates what player you are. (Might be a little different on PC, not sure)
 
How do you connect the xbox 360 control do you use a usb conncter or something else please help.

GlovePIE. A wireless link between a controller and the computer. It can also activate scripts to your controller. Example: having your Wii Remote have certain lights blink.
