Hey guys, what does Metal Sonic look like in Generations? Sonic's facebook has the answer.

Pffffhahahaha

Oh god, I thought he was a new toy or something at first. He's so stumpy and adorable.

Thanks for the laugh SEGA.

That's probably supposed to be a CLASSIC Metal Sonic, actually. I think his appearance is based more on what Classic Sonic looks like in terms of scale. I do think his body is a bit too small though, or the head is too big, as Greg mentioned.

Either way, it's nice to see Metal Sonic is in the game...

...even though I already saw the leaks.

Well, that's some really fancy graphics work there, Sega. Way to put this disgruntled customer on the fence.
Ugh, I really can't tell what is going on in those screens.

Is there a Modern version of the same fight or is it going to be Classic only?
Edit: Found a blown up version of the Stardust image. As said on SSMB, some of the character from the original version is gone. (Green floor with Neon lights, pink lit up city in background, color, etc) Although, these are rough scans so I'll put off my judgement till I get a crisp clean scan.

Edit2: Oh! You had to click on the thumbnail TWICE to get it blown up. Now I can actually view all the images.

From the given info, both Retro and Modern fight him. Whether this means they fight the same doppelganger or not is up to debate at the moment.

I can't wait to get high res screenshots of Chemical Plant though. It is surprisingly gritty, smog filled, and industrial given the nature of the original level. It really does look like they've put a brand new twist on the level.

The DLC Casino Night Zone level. Pfff, they put their game's logo into the actual pinball machine. .-.

Seems like CNZ is a mixture of Casinopolis, Casino Park, and, of-course, Casino Night Zone.

It looks like one huge mini-game, though. :/

EDIT: Has anyone noticed the Chaos Emerald-like lights on the table?

That's odd considering the lamp post and general design of Stardust Speedway are there intact.

Lifted from Ritz on Retro.

It has me wondering how far they're going with this Time Holes idea. If this truly takes place in Chemical Plant, then the Time Eater may as well be eating the very fabric of the universe while It's at it.

What the hell is Metal Sonic doing in Chemical Plant anyway? He never even made an appearance in Sonic 2!

The Time Eater must be on crack...
