Right, guys, I brought up a discussion on IRC about an SRB2 Awards thing with nominations and such and thought I should bring it to life.

So here it is, the First Annual SRB2 Community Awards... event... thing...

Anyways, basically, you can nominate anything for any of these categories:

  • Best Character WAD
  • Most Original Character WAD
  • Worst Character WAD
  • Best SOC
  • Most Original SOC
  • Worst SOC
  • Best Level
  • Most Original Level
  • Worst Level
  • Best First Level
  • Worst First Level
  • Best Level Pack
  • Most Original Level Pack
  • Worst Level Pack
  • Best Mod
  • Most Original Mod
  • Worst Mod
  • Best SOC Maker
  • Best Level Maker
  • Best Character Maker
  • Best Mod Maker
  • Worst SOC Maker
  • Worst Level Maker
  • Worst Character Maker
  • Worst Mod Maker
  • Member that has given the most to the community
  • Hardest working Moderator
  • Hardest working Admin
  • Biggest procrastinator
  • Hardest working reporter of servers
  • Hardest working bug reporter
  • Biggest ideas guy
  • Member that has given the biggest contribution to the wiki
  • All round hardest working member of the community
  • Stupidest thread
  • Biggest Ego
  • Best Netgamer
  • Biggest Code Monkey
  • Hardest Working Staff

A lot, I know, all votes and nominations will be kept private, the top four for each category will be put through to be voted on during the voting period. The ending date for nominations will be coming up soon.

To nominate, send me a personal message with the subject of "SRB2CA Nomination(s)", any message that are not titled appropriately will be ignored.

Please format it exactly like that, it makes my job a hell of a lot easier, you may make as many nominations as you like, but you may only make one per category, no exceptions.

Well, we can still discuss who we THINK should win these nominations, right?

Immediately after I saw "Hardest working reporter of servers" I thought, "SRB2 Guy. Yup." Amirite or what

Also, I feel as if there should be more community oriented personal blah blah nominations, such as:

Biggest Ego
Most Popular
Most Famous
Most Infamous
Funniest Recolor
Most Influential Member
Most Annoying
Best Oldbie
Best Netgamer (Maybe split into best at Match, CTF, Race...)
And so on. I mean, yeah, we already have a lot, but real award things have a LOT of different categories to fill. Oh and, what do you get when you win? o.o
 
Finnaly Some Users,Mods,and ADMINS, Will be rewarded with the thankfullness of the MB. YAY ^_^

I even had to deal with a forgen server. That was annoying as heck.
 
I just wish that there was a way to show off the Awards in our profile. Also add theses categories.

I think thats merely impossible to answer. Have you even seen how fast most people get banned here? Meh, If I had to vote for that it'd be S.O.N.I.C, but anyway, it's not in the category.
