Ignore what the tutorial says about needing doom2.wad and gfx.wad, use srb2.srb, and it will work fine.

And you get more textures for use in srb2.

Srb2.srb works but...

Srb2.srb works for some people :)

but not me o.o
Although i use Doombuilder with the gfx.wad and srb2.srb as the extra IWAD :/
I have no idea about wadauthor though :/

I despise it with a passion...

You don't need gfx.wad anymore for DB.

Yes! At last! We shall form an Anti-Gfx.wad Squad and destroy all who oppose us! Har har! [/semi-random]

directed to to mr blowoff: The Anti gfx.wad force, YAYS!!!!!! To other users: try copying srb2.srb and rename it to srb2.wad.srb.
If you use the normal iwad, srb2 doesn't let you in because you modified it...

If you save a map into SRB2, of course it won't work.
But SRB2 is an IWAD, and will be accepted.

I opened it one time with a hex editor and it said PWAD in one of the first lines of the hexadecimal script.

Because that would be stupid, as an IWAD is basically a PWAD, anyways, with the exception that it's identified as the main wad for a game.
