Default SOCedit crashes when viewing thrown weapon ring objects

Selecting any thrown weapon ring object in SOCedit causes the application to crash. May be related to the known flag 32 crash.
Science tells us that nothing can be proven, only rendered more likely to be true. If we do not question what we already know, how can we know, much less admit, when we're wrong? Such things are vital to progress.

I've said it many times -- it's the fact that it can't handle #ifdeffed code, and all of the weapon ring objects have #ifdef WEAPON_SFX in them.

The SOC editor's not my domain, so...
