I wouldn't have either. My extent of experience with the "classic" Sonic games is through Mega Collection, and the Virtual Console.

I have a Mark I Mega Drive lying around somewhere (blast processor intact, I believe :P). I should probably get it out more, if only because of the seriously sexy golden 16-bit logo.
