Or rather, DO you save energy?
Personally whenever I can, I make sure to put my computer into sleep mode whenever I know I'm going to be gone for a sizable amount of time. I tend to fully discharge my portable batteries and just the etc. Cutting the lights simple stuff. Sometimes I have to make sure I watch out for the rest of my family though, because I don't think any of them know about saving electricity.
