I believe he just teleported. If he gets hurt by any reason (lava or water), he'll try to teleport; and you were awarded.
 
Figured I might take some screenshots around the server with my WIP texture pack.

How I shall miss that lighthouse. It was coming along so nice.

Those textures are looking pretty nice though! I love the dirt one, and the glass. However, the stone looks... Eh, cheesy. Maye it just has too much contrast?

It probably teleport spammed to avoid the sun/rain/lava/water & just happened to end up in there. It's happened to me in Single Player
 
Haven't been on due to finals. I'll be back on the server by the 9th of January so hopefully no one robs my house during my vacation XD
 
So, Furyhunter trashed the old map and started a new one*, and the new world is coming along nicely. We found another NPC village, so that's nice.

More like you live under the well. Decent little cave, too.

I live on the outskirts of town, presently, but I'm still working on building my house. I have a lot of cobble to smelt into stone brick, and ran out of coal, so...
 
I joined a week or two ago.
Me & my friend went to:
X=234
Y=65
Z=1147
& built a small home. I also had a Wolfie, but he drowned... =-(

& my I.G.N was Knuxfan24

(Or I did have a house there... Until the server went onto Bukkit.)

I live with KOTE and am currently planning out the new railroad.

I went through the worst time of my life in Minecraft yesterday with the Stronghold portal in the nether. It always just pointed to a portal about 100 blocks from the 'hold instead of in the damn place(before you ask, there IS a portal we setup in there) no matter where in the Nether I placed it. I just said screw it and made a netherrack trail there.

And yay, Sapphire town has snow :D
 
Ask Fury. Also, the newest snapshot is AWSOME. Jungle Biomes (Jeb mentions they will add jungle mobs soon too!), spawning eggs can be put in dispensers and work now, wolves can be bred, and vines are climbable like ladders as long as there's a block behind it, making jungles even better, because you can use the vines to climb on the huge trees.

As a way to increase the population of players on the server, I propose we build a project, using Survival Mode to build a project is more challenging, but that's what makes it more fun.

I propose we build a 64x128x64 statue of Classic Sonic. That's, IIRC, 4x4 chunks, bedrock to sky, of oldschool awesomeness. :D

Two choices for difficulty:
Easy - Blue parts are Wool
Hard - Blue parts are Lapis
