.gitignore, android files?

Well, after I tried opengl mode (which was way slow and crappy although 1.09.4a worked perfectly) I started looking in my SRB2 folder and found this file. No name. Just .gitignore. Is this normal?

Oh, so now that I look, I see android as a folder too. Argh, android.mk!?!!?

if you extraced the SRB2 Source code, then yes, that is normal
.gitignore is just a text fold listing what files to ignore to add to the SCM
android.mk is the Android Makefile
