Help with Sonic's sprites

I was wondering if someone could help me find a wad with Sonic's normal game sprites--not an edited version, like SonicCE, but the ordinary ones made by Sonic Team Jr for V2.0? If not, could someone tell me how to extract them from the game's default files? Thank you.

...He posted in the editing help forum, which is exactly what he was supposed to do.

I do know where you can find them though. The character data files are in Sonic.plr, and corresponding files for Tails and Knuckles. Just open it up in Slade or any lump editor, and there you have it.
