what programs do you use to make sprites for wads?

You have to use the SRB2 light blue (the one in my Avitar background. Any regular light blue wont work :/
 
You might need to point it to the correct palette. Ie, have XWE read the main wad as SRB2.srb/SRB2.wad

If you don't know how to do it, open up XWE's xwe.ini and look for this line:
"MainWAD"

Change whatever the C:\ path is to the path of where you want XWE to look for, so for example, mine is:
C:\Documents and Settings\<NAME>\Desktop\XWE\XWE BETA\,srb2.wad

Hey Flame can you reiterate what you just said but tell me the reason why i need to change the main wad?
