Upon quitting SRB2, there is a message stating, "This game should not be sold!" We seem to have a misunderstanding of the GNU GPL, which permits selling. The only restriction is that the person to whom the seller is selling the game must have access to the source code, and has every right that the seller has. Therefore, I could sell SRB2 for $1 million. However, the person to whom I sold it could just put it up for download somewhere else. Therefore, I find that message to be incorrect and misleading.

The game shouldn't be sold because the characters in it were thought up by SEGA.

And Lord knows that we can't have that!

Besides, what licence is this game under? I know I told you that it's GPL, but I might be wrong.

The GAME is FREEWARE.

The SOURCE CODE is GPL.

There's a difference.
