I guess this is a discussion about The Orange Box now. If you're confused by some posts, this was originally a help topic. No more, though.

Disk 2 doesn't have an autorun application, it looks like.

The installer from disk 1 should still be running, and will detect disk 2.

I installed disc 1, but it never asked to do anything like insert disc 2. I put disc one in again and I chose install again and gave me some error.
 
My problem's been fixed. I am an idiot.

If it's not too much trouble for a mod/admin, could this please be locked? Thank you.
 
Download Steam and enter the CD key in Steam itself.

Edit: Never mind, I need to read the thread next time.
 
Go to the steam store and type in the game name and you will find it. I don't know what else to do...

That didn't work, but I have it under control now. (I hope!) Happily playing portal now.
 
I'll try the flash pack out. I changed the topic to The Orange box DISCUSSION topic.

On another subject, tf2 runs as fast a snail carrying a wrecking ball. Makes me sad.
