The URLs and downloads in this page are for v2.0, an outdated version of SRB2! For the current version of SRB2, please see our repos on GitLab and GitHub.

Note that for the current version of SRB2, only the Windows, Linux and Mac platforms are officially supported. All other ports and platforms are unmaintained and may not work.

Debian/Ubuntu users:
For adding the repos to your Debian/Ubuntu system
Code:
sudo wget --output-document=/etc/apt/sources.list.d/srb2-alam.list http://alam.srb2.org/debian/srb2.list

Now let add my GPG key to mix!
Code:
wget -O - http://alam.srb2.org/debian/alam.gpg.key|sudo apt-key add -

Ok, let update the APT system!
Code:
sudo apt-get update

now the only issue is that the packages that dh_shlibdeps failed so, you have to make sure you installed your libsdl, libsdl-mixer and libpng package installed
Well, I rebuild all the binary packages on my workstation, RigginStereo, now all binaries have correct Depend info now
Code:
sudo apt-get -y install srb2
Linux x86 Debug binary:

Linux x86 Release binary:

SRB2PSP Debug:
http://alam.srb2.org/SRB2_trunk/PSP/Debug/EBOOT.PBP
please note without a PSP<->PC link, I can not debug this as far I wanted to
look at the log files the PBP drops(srb2log.txt), and also, you need the WAD files in the folder....

about OpenGL mode: OpenGL is not supported (use -opengl to turn on OpenGL mode)!

Win32 SDL EXEs needs SDL.DLL and SDL_MIXER.DLL
http://www.libsdl.org/download-1.2.php
http://www.libsdl.org/release/SDL-1.2.13-win32.zip
http://www.libsdl.org/projects/SDL_mixer/
http://www.libsdl.org/projects/SDL_mixer/release/SDL_mixer-1.2.8-win32.zip

To help debug the Win32 EXEs. have exchndl.dll with the Debug version of the EXE
http://alam.srb2.org/home/exchndl.dll
exchndl.dll make a EXENAME.RPT file with a backtrack and EIP of the crash

Note: the Win32 EXEs should work for Win NT 3.51, Win95, Win98 and maybe WinME systems

Both Mac port I've played (Alams and Sappharads) are having a few problems.

1. In CEZ the swinging chains that don't go around in a full circle pause in the middle. This makes CEZ2 impossible as Sonic.

The chain stuck:
Sonic stuck:

2. The boss in THZ3 stops and stays in one place whenever he changes directions. After you hit him he'll just stay in that same spot until you hit him again or until he changes directions automatically. I don't mind this though, it makes the boss much easier. I can finally beat him in below 30 seconds. =P

3. I can't join netgames with srb2.wad! In 1.09.4, Sappharad's port was able to join a Windows or Mac netgame with no problem, in fact me and a few friends used to play on my LAN using both Macs and PCs, so what's the reason the Mac port's preventing it? If it can connect to another Mac, at least that's something, but I haven't tried it yet, and no one plays any public netgames on the Mac anyway. If it does work connecting from Mac to Mac, could the next port at least remove all the netgames that won't work on the Mac from the list?

Edit: Nevermind about CEZ being impossible as Sonic. I found another route.

I'm having two big issues with the PSP port right now.

1.) The game still crashes if I'm fully submerged in water. That already happened in the 1.09.4 version.

3.) After finishing GFZ1 the game crashes. In 1.09.4 I was able to get past TH2 before crashing.

Whenever I try to load the PSP version, it boots up, and after the PSP logo, its black for a couple of seconds, then turns off...
What firmware do you suppose I should use?

I hope your using custom firmware?

Yep, I'm upgrading to 5.00 M3-6 now, I was on 4.something M33 because Tenchu 2 wouldnt work on 5.00.
Oh well, it's upgrading now, I'll give a shout if it boots.

Nope, not working.

Ok, I've got it working, and I seem to come across the same issues as Akira. Plus, when I continue a save file (which does not load in GFZ1) the game crashes as well. Plus It's a tad choppy as well.

hi! I downloaded the port for psp and I have a problem, the console is turned off when you start the game, I got the eboot in that folder: PSP/GAME/SRB2
I renamed the file to EBOOT.PBP, What do I wrong?
thanks
