Amy Rose Is Here!

The sprite monitor bug should have been fixed in an update, but jeez, the super form's that broken? She's supposed to be burning freaking Blaze in that situation. Ah well, needed to update the Sol Emerald WAD anyway.

Nope, it's fine, it's just a minor sprite. Almost nobody notices, i just noticed it, because I had remembered what Kirblord said previously. And yes, in the previous version, it was transformed TRULY in Burning Blaze, now only changes the color of the dress to yellow, but that's okay.

If somebody wouldn't mind sharing a save file with all seven emeralds with me through PMs, so I can play test this to work, I could really use one. Saves are working properly on the Linux port now, but I'm too busy with art projects to play through all the nights stages right now.

I just wanna get'em, but i suck getting emeralds in Special Stages. (I have a netbook, it's not my fault.)

One day my game glitched. Every time I started the game, I automatically turned Super.
What'cha say? Amy Rose turned into... a static monitor!

But seriously, this WAD is fantastic. I really like it! Just wished her double jump was something more helpful... *sigh* these last levels...

If I wasn't such a dummy with Lua, I'd love to give her a more helpful ability, and restore her hammer attack too. Ah well, the sprites are dirt old and are in sore need of replacing altogether anyway. God I can't stand how awkwardly I hamfisted bobbing into the walking sprites. Chrispy had it perfect, originally.

Not that I have time for it anymore. I've got a Shantae fan game, two novel manuscripts, and art practice keeping me busy. Heck, I can't remember the last time I even played SRB2. Still waiting for somebody to port Hinote over to 2.1, and I get the feeling I might have to do that myself. I hate SOCs more than MLP porn.

Too bad I don't know any Lua. Art, novels, college, and learning how to not get bodied in fighting games is taking up most of my time commitment lately.

What little time I do spend on SRB2 these days goes into figuring out the SOC changes between SRB2 2.0 and 2.1, so I can get Hinote to work again. I'd like to fix her so maybe Alice could submit it, then I could probably animate an accompanying title screen mod that turns the game into Super Hinote Party Blast 2. =P *bricked*

I, and I think a few other people as well, have already ported Hinote to 2.1 and contacted Alice about submitting it, but she never did - either that, or the judges somehow never noticed and released the submission.
